Eric Neilson Defines Himself

Boucher is Tampa Bay’s coach now and a reason Neilson is with the Admirals, the top Lightning affiliate.

“We would sit in his office and watch video of fight after fight after fight,” Neilson said of those days in Quebec. “Now, I’ll look at the (opposing team’s) roster and I’ll try to see who does the same job I do.

“There’s YouTube now, hockeyfights.com. I’m a big believer in studying what they do, how they come in with their first punch, what their tendencies are as fighters. If it can help you win, you’re going to use it.”
