Donald Brashear on His New Hockey Game

Before the game I spoke at length with Brashear, 39, about his stint with 3L de Rivière-du-Loup, about trying to play a clean game. He talked about his final N.H.L. season, with the Rangers, when he said he was told to fight and “didn’t like it anymore.” He said Coach John Tortorella had promised him “all sorts of ice time, but he never gave it to me.”
