Distant Dustups
Thursday night’s slate of games produced three fights and while only one of the contests were inter-conference, all of the bouts managed to involve teams that would have to travel from afar into to reach the other’s home arena.
Matt Greene taking on Matt Bradley in Kings–Caps was the first bout of the night. They were followed by an impromptu scrap between Ryan Carter and Kevin Klein in Ducks–Preds. Finally the heavyweights capped the night off as Zack Stortini and Cam Janssen danced for the first time since juniors in Oilers–Blues.
Mike V names his “Tough Guy All-Stars”
Die-hard Ducks fan Mike V is also a supporter of the fights in hockey and has come up with his 10 “Tough Guy All-Stars” in the NHL. Video of the segment, which is his second episode of “Ducks Fanatic” for the club, is after the jump.
