Daniel Paille’s Take on Fighting

Fighting is all right with Daniel Paille

I like the fighting role. I don’t think they should crack down on it. Sometimes it changes the game. For us, it’s a good thing to have in the game. We’ve always had the passion to stick up for a teammate and to have that chance to do that in a fight, so I think it’s something for all of us to look forward to. As players, we’re aware of the consequences and we go out there and thrive on it.

To watch somebody else like Shawn (Thornton) fight, especially when they’re sticking up for you, it kind of gets your heart pumping and your whole body going. It gets you into the game, especially when you know the meaning behind it and he’s trying to get everyone into the game.
