Colin Campbell’s Emails Are Worrisome

Every once in a while I wonder whether hockey should repeal the instigator penalty. I’m actually a believer that fighting could and should be virtually eliminated from the game, but that fantasy only works if there is a working authority in place, and there isn’t. So I wonder whether in the absence of a functional government, frontier justice must suffice.

And yes, this thought is often prompted by Sean Avery.
