Captains Square Off at Mile High

Very few things in hockey compare to when two captains decide to drop the gloves. It's not a common thing, and in the last few years, only a few captain on captain fights have taken place. Jonathan Toews going after Joe Thornton¹ and David Backes² are recent examples.

Last night we witnessed a great fight between Gabriel Landeskog, captain of the Colorado Avalanche, and Andrew Ladd, captain of the Winnipeg Jets.

As the teams lined for a faceoff in the Avalanche zone the two discussed what they were going to do, then followed through with that discussion.
