Brad Staubitz’s Two-Fight Night
Staubitz punches up the intensity
“You can’t have that,” Staubitz said. “I was coming on the ice, I saw it happen and that’s something you stand up and say, ‘You’re not going to do that to our captain. We’re not going to be pushed around.'”
Staubitz, in the lineup after being scratched for four games, made the most of his eight shifts against the Blue Jackets. He assisted on Chuck Kobasew’s goal, got into two fights and drew a 4-on-4 that led to Koivu’s late second-period goal in the 4-3 shootout loss.
