A Quartet of Gordies

The last two nights of NHL action have produced four Gordie Howe Hat Tricks.

Wayne Simmonds and Dale Weise picked up Gordies in the first period of the Islanders–Flyers game Thursday night. The Flyers took a commanding 5-0 lead in that period, winning 6-3 in the end.
