A Night for the Middleweights

The lighter weight fighters took center stage on Monday, spearheaded by a three-fight effort from the Blues and Avs.

Brad Winchester and Cody McLeod kicked things off with an uneventful grappling match. They were followed by B.J. Crombeen, who took offense to a hit by Ryan O'Byrne and then by Vladimir Sobotka and Matt Duchene, who paired during a scrum towards the end of the game.

Elsewhere, Rod Pelley and Adam McQuaid exchanged blows in a spirit scrap, as did Ryan Callahan and Mike Comrie.
