A Little Drama

Chris Drury‘s goal with 8 seconds left last night to send the game into overtime was just a little dramatic.  The former Little League (oh, and Stanly Cup) Champ seems to have a knack for those things.

The Sabres then took the game on a power play a little under five minutes into OT.  The Rangers have their chance to tie it up tomorrow afternoon at the Garden.

Ex-NHL enforcer sues BC nightclub

A former NHL hockey enforcer is suing a Delta, B.C., nightclub and two of its doormen after an alleged assault left him in hospital with brain damage and permanent injuries.

Thomas Lewis, the lawyer for 31-year-old Garrett Burnett, claimed in a writ filed in B.C. Supreme Court this week that two men started verbally abusing him and a friend at Cheers Nightclub last December.

The document said the two doormen watched the fracas but did nothing to stop it. When the men became violent, the bouncers tossed all the patrons outside, where Burnett was allegedly hit on the head with a bar stool that left him unconscious.
