Halpern skates after Kovalchuk, who skates backwards until a linesman gets in between. Clark has a hold of Kozlov, and has him bent over. Clark throws a punch or two and Kozlov turtles. Clark holds up and a ref comes over to ensure the break up. Clark skates away with a nick on his nose, from a high stick earlier. Other Penalties: Jeff Halpern received a roughing; Ilya Kovalchuk a roughing and high sticking. | ||||

Sutherby is able to regain his balance and the two wrestle along the boards. Sutherby gets loose and throws a left. Brown returns fire with a couple of body blows followed by an uppercut. Sutherby comes back with a couple of rights of his own until he loses his balance and both fighters fall to the ice. | ||||

Mair switches hands and may have connected with a right while Bradley switches to the left. Bradley gets Mair bent over and throws a wild left to the back of the helmet of Mair and they both tumble to the ground. | ||||

Gaustad has Morrisonn bent over and is throwing uppercuts, one may have buckled him. Morrisonn recovers and throws a punch and then grabs Gaustad's leg and takes him down. Clark eventually rights himself, gets Strudwick's helmet mostly off and is able to hold him off while landing an odd punch or two in close.
