Comments: Olaf Kolzig takes some swipes at a Thrasher and all the players come together and these two get it going. Eminger was landing at will at the beginning, then Petro responded with a beauty that sent Eminger to a knee. While on the knee Petro threw a right that connected flush. They get back up and as the linesman try to break it up Petro fires another to show he is not done. Other Penalties: Olaf Kolzig, Nolan Yonkman and Eric Boulton each received a roughing.

Comments: Witt is in the box after a hit on Jason Blake. He gets out of the box and Asham is on the ice. Asham finds him and the gloves fly. They square off and Witt moves in to grab on while Asham throws a punch. They tangle and quickly go down. Witt throws a right while they're on the ice and they get up and start throwing punches, Asham with the right, Witt with the left, but the linesmen have already moved in to break it up.

Comments: The two meet up just over the circle. Blake gives a hard, two-handed push to Clymer's chest. Clymer immediately drops the gloves and grabs on. Blake ties up and tries to bury his head in Clymer's chest. Clymer begins to pump the rights into Blake's head and the linesmen jump in quick. Blake skates away with a good cut on the bridge of his nose and blood coming from his nose. Other Penalties: Blake received a slashing.

Comments: There's a scrum in front of the net and these two separate from the pack. Commodore has good position and lands four quick rights. Bradley didn't seem to land any, and he gets the takedown after some wrestling.

Comments: Jeff Halpern throws a big hit on Kozlov. Ilya Kovalchuk comes over and gives Halpern a shove and knocks him to the ice. Everyone comes together, sticks up, and a scrum ensues. Halpern skates after Kovalchuk, who skates backwards until a linesman gets in between. Clark has a hold of Kozlov, and has him bent over. Clark throws a punch or two and Kozlov turtles. Clark holds up and a ref comes over to ensure the break up. Clark skates away with a nick on his nose, from a high stick earlier. Other Penalties: Jeff Halpern received a roughing; Ilya Kovalchuk a roughing and high sticking.

Comments: The game is over and a scrum ensues along the boards. Tucker and Clark separate and Clark is holding on. Clark frees up an arm and throws a few back of the head shots that don't do much. Tucker then gets free and set and throws 6-7 shots with at least 2-3 connecting. The linesmen jump in as clark starts throwing again. Tucker's already cut nose was re-opened. Clark's nose and eye looked bloody, but Clark was also cut from the night before. Other Penalties: Each player received a slashing.

Comments: Sutherby takes a shot at Brodeur and Brown immediately goes after him, throwing a gloved punch and shoving him into the boards. All of the other players start pushing and shoving as well. They drop the gloves and start exchanging right hands. Sutherby gets knocked off-balance against the boards as Brown is able to land numerous right hands on Sutherby. Sutherby is able to regain his balance and the two wrestle along the boards. Sutherby gets loose and throws a left. Brown returns fire with a couple of body blows followed by an uppercut. Sutherby comes back with a couple of rights of his own until he loses his balance and both fighters fall to the ice.

Comments: The two meet up along the boards and drop the gloves. Bradley is swinging away with huge wild right hands while Mair is attempting to gain position. One of Bradley's rights connects and Mair looks to be stunned for a split second. Mair regains his composure and starts throwing lefts while Bradley continues to throw wild rights. Mair switches hands and may have connected with a right while Bradley switches to the left. Bradley gets Mair bent over and throws a wild left to the back of the helmet of Mair and they both tumble to the ground.

Comments: Offsides is called and Jochen Hecht gets bumped by Chris Clark and Hecht gives Witt a slash. A scrum ensues and Witt grabs onto Vanek, bends him over and starts feeding him lefts and the linesmen quickly come over to peel Witt off of Vanek. Other Penalties: Witt received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct; Vanek a slashing; Chris Clark a roughing. Thomas Vanek did not receive a fighting major.

Comments: Biron comes way out of his net to play the puck near the wall and Ovechkin checks him. Biron comes back and pushes Ovechkin who holds his ground. Gaustad comes in glove-punching Ovechkin along with a couple of other Sabres. The Caps catch up to the play and a larger scrum ensues. Out of the fray Gaustad is tied up with Morrisonn. Gaustad has Morrisonn bent over and is throwing uppercuts, one may have buckled him. Morrisonn recovers and throws a punch and then grabs Gaustad's leg and takes him down. Other Penalties: Martin Biron and Alexander Ovechkin each received a roughing.

Comments: Way behind the play, these two get tangled up and Clark gives Strudwick a shot that jars his helmet loose. As Strudwick comes after him, Clark catches him again with a high elbow or stick. Strudwick asks him to fight and they go, with Strudwick immediately getting the advantage. He lands a dozen rights to the back of Clark's head, although Clark's helmet was still on. Clark eventually rights himself, gets Strudwick's helmet mostly off and is able to hold him off while landing an odd punch or two in close. After another shot from Clark the two tied up and the linesmen separate them. Other Penalties: Clark received a roughing; Strudwick a holding.

Comments: The puck is right by Clymer and Paul Kariya skates towards it fast. Clymer shoves him to the ice and Allison comes right over to give a shove back to Clymer. Clymer quickly gives Allison a push back and the gloves drop. They're in tight and Allison tries to squeeze in a left before Clymer gets in a few short ones of his own. Allison attempts a quick right and then Clymer throws two before they fall. The linesmen are quickly in to break it up. Other Penalties: Allison received a roughing.

Comments: They drop the gloves near the boards and tie up. They each attempt a couple of overhand rights as they struggle to get loose. Both get free and start exchanging right hands; Bradley throwing and landing more punches early with Gratton coming back with a flurry of his own late. Gratton then lands a right that knocks Bradley to the ice. Gratton throws a short right as the linesmen dive in to stop the fight.

Comments: Gratton checks Bradley into the boards and starts to skate away as Bradley gives Gratton a shot with his stick in retaliation. They drop the gloves and tie up, each trying to get their right hand free. Bradley throws a locked-out right as they both get free and start going toe-to-toe with rights. Bradley ducks down, switches hands, and throws a left. They wrestle around before Bradley throws a short right while Gratton tries to get his right hand free. They each throw a couple of locked-out rights before the linesmen come in and end the scrap.

Comments: Souray checks Clark along the boards as they push and shove a little. Souray gives Clark a shot as he skates away. Clark shoves Souray back before the sticks get up and the two drop the gloves. They grapple as Souray throws Clark to the ice and throws two right hands before Clark even has both of his gloves off. Souray tries to get a couple of short body shots in as the linesmen try to seperate the two. Other Penalties: Souray received a cross checking.

Comments: They start pushing and shoving in front of the Capitals' net and drop the gloves. Witt throws 4-5 rights to start things off as Marshall returns fire with two rights of his own. Witt throws another right as Marshall goes down to a knee for a moment. He gets back up and throws a few lefts while Witt is still throwing rights. Witt switches hands and throws two lefts before they get in tight and wrestle around, causing the linesmen to step in and end the fight.

Montador continues to throw numerous lefts, connecting with some as Bradley throws a few rights in response during the flurry. Montador then loses his balance and falls to the ice as Bradley gets in two rights while he is down.

Comments: Whitney spears Ovechkin in the groin area, sending him to the ice in pain. The puck sails around the boards as Willsie spots Whitney and goes straight after him. They drop the gloves against the glass as everyone piles in. Willsie throws a couple of overhand rights over a linesman and gets Whitney's jersey over his head before the two are finally seperated. Ovechkin remains down on the ice in obvious pain with the Washington trainer looking over him. Other Penalties: Willsie received an instigator and misconduct; Whitney a spearing major and game misconduct.

Comments: Robitaille checks Jay Bouwmeester near the corner in the Panthers' zone. As he turns he gets bumped by Payer. They each turn to face each other and quickly drop the gloves and get in-tight. They wrestle for a moment and fall to the ice with Robitaille on top. Robitaille tries to get a punch in, but a linesman is in there to break it up quickly.

Stevenson throws an overhand right and almost loses his balance as Yonkman attempts a locked-out right. Stevenson throws another overhand right as Yonkman connects with a right that that sends Stevenson to the ice. Other Penalties: Yonkman received a slashing; Stevenson a roughing.

Comments: Before the puck even drops, Roy sheds his gloves and his stick and challenges Doull. The linesmen instruct Roy to pick up his equipment and wait for the faceoff. The puck drops and the two drop the gloves and square off. Doull grabs on and misses with a left. Roy throws four straight rights with Doull throwing two of his own before they let go of each other. Roy takes off his elbow pad as Doull skates over and hits Roy with an overhand right while Roy is bent over. They wrestle around for a short while and Doull continues to keep Roy bent over. Doull switches hands and throws a right before ripping Roy's helmet off. They spin around as Doull throws an overhand left before Roy lands two rights and both guys lose their balance and fall to the ice.

Doull pushes Cairns up against the glass and throws two rights before losing his balance and falling to the ice, taking Cairns down with him. Other Penalties: Doull received a slashing.

Halpern, who wears a visor, takes off his own helmet and grabs ahold of Fisher. Fisher throws a short uppercut before throwing a left as he loses his balance and goes down to his knees. Fisher gets right back up just as Halpern rips his helmet off before falling down. Fisher throws an uppercut and Halpern pushes Fisher to the ice just before the linesmen come in.

Halpern turns around and they get their sticks up, shove each other, and drop the gloves. Halpern connects with a right that knocks Staal's helmet off before throwing him to the ice. Staal returns to his feet and Halpern lands three more rights with the linesmen close by. Halpern misses with an overhand right, allowing Staal to push Halpern to the ice. The linesmen come in shortly after.

The two wrestle around while a linesmen tries to pull them apart. Commodore drops his gloves and throws a right at the back of Clymer's head, forcing Yonkman to drop his gloves and come to his aid. Yonkman throws a right that is blocked before falling to his knees. Yonkman gets back up and throws two rights to the back of Commodore's head. Commodore throws a right of his own before ducking under a Yonkman right and falling to the ice. Yonkman throws two rights while they are down. Other Penalties: Commodore received a roughing and cross checking; Yonkman a game misconduct; Ben Clymer a roughing.

Bradley misses with an overhand right, giving Adams the opportunity to tie him up. Bradley then gets free and lands a wide right before the two exchange simultaneous rights. Adams wrestles Bradley down to the ice, but the two quickly return to their feet. Bradley throws an overhand left and the two wrestle around until the linesmen come in. Adams cocks back his right hand to throw a punch but one of the linesmen grabs him before he is able to throw.
