Oct 18, 2003 2pd 04:12 Martin Lapointe @LOS Tim Gleason
Lapointe crunched Gleason into the boards from behind and Gleason wasn't happy. He didn't have a stick, but tried to shove Marty a little. Lapointe dropped 'em and started to throw. He and Gleason went down quick, but it didn't even look like Gleason got his gloves off. Didn't deserve majors. Other Penalties: Lapointe received a boarding.

Oct 18, 2003 2pd 06:00 Nick Boynton @LOS Ian Laperriere
Off the start Lappy already has his elbow pad off. They squareoff with Lappy telling Boynton to come on. He does with a good left. Boynton controls the begining of the fight as Laperriere is trying to get Boynton's lid off. He does and they start trading, Boyton must have landed a good one as it popped of Lappy's hat. Laperriere turns the tables and lands a few of his own. He gets Boyton off-balance.

Salei checks Thornton from behind into the boards and Joe goes down, and stays down for a minute. Boynton immediately comes in with the gloves off and starts firing rights. Everybody started to pile in, but that doesn't stop Nick as he is laying into Salei with the right hands. It's eventually stopped with Todd Simpson with a cut on the bridge of his nose. Todd was technically third man, but got no penalty and got cut for his efforts, but not from a punch. Other Penalties: Salei received a boarding; Boynton an instigator and misconduct.

White is skating into the zone and O'Donnell is standing up at the blueline. The sticks get high and the gloves come off. Colin started off well, and lands what looked like two decent shots before O'Donnell got him tied up again. Sean came back with one really good shot that landed flush on Colin's chin before the linesmen jumped in and broke it up.

This was a looong fight. They were both pretty well tied up and trading in-close, short punches. Each landed a few. Langdon at one point broke a hand free and threw a couple of haymakers that hit the side of McCarthy's head or his helmet. Starts to slow down after at least a minute and the linesman break it up.

Nov 06, 2003 1pd 15:19 Martin Lapointe SAN Rob Davison
They're along the boards, give a stick whack to each other and the gloves come off. Davison throws a quick right, a pause and then they each throw a couple of rights. Davison lands at least one, hard to tell if Lapointe's did due to camera angle. They're tied up for a moment and then Lapointe gets his right free. He throws a few rights while Davison is ducking. They all miss or hit a defensive shoulder. Lapointe goes to switch up as Davison is straightening out. Davison throws a couple of rights as Lapointe takes him down.

Nov 06, 2003 2pd 10:54 Sandy McCarthy SAN Scott Parker
They squareoff for a while. Parker grabs McCarthy's sleeve, and McCarthy winds up having an arm completely out of his jersey. Parker missed with a huge right when they come together. Each grabbed the other's straps on the back of the shoulder pads and got in tight. They each worked to get free without letting go of the straps, and that leads to a close dance. McCarthy landed some noogies as did Parker eventually. As they finally started to get loose, their legs tangled and down they went with Parker on top.

Nov 08, 2003 3pd 12:43 Jeff Jillson DAL Brenden Morrow
They grapple along the boards and then entice each other to drop the gloves after a quick glove wash to the face by Morrow. Not much going on except holding, then Morrow starts to give Jillson some noggies. Jillson is in tight and Morrow tries to get Jillson's helmet off. Jillson has his face buried in Morrow's chest, so Morrow tries some uppercuts.

It started during a scrum after a Ling slash, looked like all was done and then Gill and Shelley drop em. Other Penalties: David Ling received a slashing.

Nov 14, 2003 2pd 16:48 Joe Thornton @CBJ Luke Richardson
Richardson throws a good open ice hit on Murray putting him to the ice. Knuble has a word for him, then Thornton comes in, they have words then drop em. They grapple a bit and Thornton, with his reach, gets a good hold with his right and starts throwing left uppercuts. He lands a few, with one good one snapping Luke's head back. Thornton seemed to have him where he could have pounded Luke, but started throwing those hold-the-collar-rights, which did nothing. Richardson throws an in-close punch from the side, a right that hits helmet, then tries the takedown, but Joe throws a tomahawk shot which makes Luke hit the ice first. Other Penalties: Thornton received an instigator and misconduct.

On a B's PP, Lapointe is parked in front of Cloutier. Cloutier slashes him and Lapointe returns, then Allen comes in and clears Lapointe out and gives him a face wash. Lapointe shoves back and they go, the ref gets in the way of the camera at the beginning. Lapointe is in close and eats a couple of rights to the side of the head. Lapointe attempts a couple, but comes up short and eats another two rights to the side of the head. Lapointe then tries getting underneath and lifting Allen up to no avail and Allen gets him down and could have nailed him, but held back.

Dec 06, 2003 1pd 08:37 Sandy McCarthy PHI Donald Brashear
They squareoff and Brashear goes in-close, grabbing McCarthy up high, gets a good hold and starts throwing the left to the back of McCarthy's helmet. About 17 which didn't look to have much on them, but if they did then Brashear's hand is going to be killing him. McCarthy tries to break free and throws a couple which have the same effect as Brashear's, none. Brashear throws a couple more to no effect and the linesmen come in.

Great toe to toe affair here with both tossing the rights early. Lots of punches thrown by both, but mostly catching helmet. Doull then switches to the left and looks to land at least one, maybe two while Zinger sticks to the rights and maybe gets a grazing blow in. Lindros and O'Donnell get together. Sean gives him a hard slash, Lindros responds and Sean drops the gloves. Eric hesitates and in comes Simon and Barnaby, as well as Moran. Lindros finally drops them, but the main attraction is Barnaby vs. Moran. They skate away from the scrum and Barnaby is able to get Moran's helmet off. He begins throwing rights, landing about five of them and then Moran gets the right going, responding with a few. Barnaby's five rights appear to do some damage, he then mixes in a left. Moran then gets the left going and they are going toe to toe for a good 15 seconds. Finally they take a break, but skate towards center ice. They each would land a few more shots before tiring and the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Eric Lindros received a high sticking; Sean O'Donnell a roughing.

Earlier they received coincidental roughings at the time, but didn't go when they got out of the box because another penalty was taken within that time putting Boston on the power play. They meet behind the net finally and drop the gloves and squareoff. They grab on and Cairns is firing rights at will, but nothing devastating. Doull gets in maybe one or two punches out of the few that he threw. Cairns has him bent over a couple of times, but doesn't take advantage really. Doull takes a run at Taylor and Peters challenges him. Doull obliges and throws a punch that doesn’t connect. Peters pins him against the boards, and Doull misses another right. Peters starts swinging away with the right, mostly hitting helmet. It’s enough to make the much smaller Doull turn away, but he throws a couple of more in there, including a nice left. Peters dumps his own helmet off and continues to throw until Doull hits the ice. Peters had a cut on his nose, probably caused by his helmet. Spirited scrap, but not a whole lot landed all that well.

They slash at one another and decide to go. Long squareoff, then Doull goes in throwing a couple of lefts landing to the side of Neil's helmet. They get a good hold of each other's arms with Neil's helmet coming off in the process. Doull tries an uppercut, but Neil has him tied up well then Neil throws a left that misses then a short right that may have landed. Doull then throws four overhand right haymakers, two landing. The last one looked to be a good one. Neil follows with a right that's blocked, then Doull answers back with another roundhouse which looked to land, but it's hard to tell from the angle. Neil throws another right which also seemed to miss and they get off-balance and go down. Doull got up and tried to keep throwing, but the linesmen were in. Neil tried to get the crowd going after.

He pops up with hard punches and Peters has balance issues at time. Peters briefly switched to the left and also got in some good right uppercuts. Fight ends when Doull gets hunched over and the linesmen come in.

Mar 11, 2004 2pd 06:50 Hal Gill @BUF Adam Mair
Mair and Gill collide, Gills get the stick up. Mair gives him a gloved shot, challenges him, and Gill obliges. Mair throws a left as they spin, and Gill has his right free, but awkwardly doesn't throw. Mair ducks a right and tags him with a big left, the one that probably opened up the cut on Gill's cheek. A few more lefts, and Gill finally decides to do something and use his reach, throwing a flurry of rights. Mair gets a good laugh out of that, and they go down with Gill on top. Other Penalties: Gill received a high sticking.

Mar 13, 2004 1pd 01:07 Nick Boynton BUF Dmitri Kalinin
Boynton throws a huge check on Kalinin against the boards putting him to the ice. Kalinin gets up and goes for Boynton, they drop the gloves and start chuckin, Kalinin with the overhand right and Boynton with the right uppercut. They both land a couple then tie each other up pretty well. Boynton has Kalinin in a tough spot and lands about four good uppercuts. Kalinin will not be deterred and starts firing the right with his head down, landing some good ones as Boynton is still throwing the uppercuts, also landing. Boynton switches to the left and lands a nice uppercut then switches back to the right landing another uppercut. Kalinin was bleeding from the bridge of the nose and went to the room for repairs. Other Penalties: Chris Drury received a high sticking.
Voted winner: Nick Boynton (95.0%) - Voted rating: 6.8

Mar 25, 2004 2pd 02:37 Doug Doull TOR Tie Domi
Domi throws down first and gets two or three shots off, then Doull regains his balance and Domi is still firing away and getting the better of it. Doull then starts throwing wildy and connects on a solid punch right to Domi's jaw and Domi takes a knee but pops right back up. Doull lands another and Domi hits the ice again mostly from being off-balance. He pops up and spins Doull off-balance and throws a punch while Doull is falling and he keeps him down.
