| Nov 09, 2001 | 1pd 02:18 | Jim McKenzie | TOR | Tie Domi |
| Comments: The two are waiting for the puck to be dropped and as soon as the puck drops, so do the gloves - but only of McKenzie. Domi immediately goes to the ice and turtles! McKenzie hits Domi 3 or 4 times while Domi is turtling on the ice. McKenzie is given 27 PIMs. Domi gets up and has some words for the Devils bench. Other Penalties: McKenzie received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct. Tie Domi did not receive a fighting major. | ||||

| Nov 09, 2001 | 1pd 10:24 | Randy McKay | TOR | Tie Domi |
| Comments: They start scrapping behind the net. McKay gets off the first few shots, about 4 rights that land, but nothing major. Domi then comes back with the lefts, and he lands some good hard punches, maybe 5 or so. One punch/push (it wasn't a square-on punch) puts McKay on the seat of his pants on the ice, and Domi didn't stop punching right away. He kept going after he had knocked McKay down. Perhaps he thought this would make up for turtling against McKenzie, but it didn't. Other Penalties: Domi received an interference. | ||||

| Nov 10, 2001 | 3pd 13:39 | Randy McKay | @TOR | Gary Roberts |
| Comments: Scrum in front of the Toronto net and after a while Roberts and McKay work themselves free. Roberts throws the first 5 or 6 punches and lands 3 to McKay's helmet. McKay throws a few that miss, then Roberts lands a good left. Some wrestling and they go down. Other Penalties: Scott Gomez and Tomas Kaberle received roughings. | ||||

| Nov 10, 2001 | 3pd 16:09 | Patrik Elias | @TOR | Wade Belak |
| Comments: Belak slashes Elias and they drop the gloves and start to go. Both throwing good. Elias handling himself well and then Arnott comes flying in and jumps on Belak. Elias is ripped out and Belak starts drilling Arnott who is on the ice. Camera switches to Corson and White. Comes back after the scrum is over. Belak has a bloody lip and Arnott a bloody nose. Belak beats Arnott and has a draw with Elias? It's two, two, two recaps in one (it's from a commercial...ah...forget it). Fun. Other Penalties: Elias received a misconduct; Arnott a game misconduct; Belak a high sticking and game misconduct. | ||||

| Nov 10, 2001 | 3pd 16:09 | Colin White | @TOR | Shayne Corson |
| Comments: Not a whole lot here. Corson lands maybe 2 or 3 weak punches to White's helmet. Lasted about 2 min but was only a partial fight. Enough for the refs to declare it a second fight after the first one started and give these two the gate. Not that it mattered - there was less then 5 left in the game - but, it did go into OT. Other Penalties: Both players received game misconducts. | ||||

| Nov 15, 2001 | 2pd 05:19 | Jim McKenzie | @BOS | Andrei Nazarov |
| Comments: Not a typical Nazarov fight. Punches were thrown. Nazarov actually filled his role. Down 3-1 looking for some spark he finds McKenzie. They skate close together for a bit, gloves drop, Nazarov gets in a quick shot. A quick hold and duck, and then McKenzie gets his right hand free, throwing a bunch, landing quite a few, although Nazarov had the obvious reach advantage as some of the punches look like they hit Nazarov's neck. Nazarov counters with a couple of his own, solid to McKenzie's head. Then the two just decide to stand up and end the fight. BTW - Boston came back and won in overtime...hmm… | ||||

| Nov 18, 2001 | 2pd 02:05 | Colin White | COL | Scott Parker |
| Comments: Puck drops and White heads straight for Parker, barely giving him time to get his gloves off. A couple of punches thrown by Parker hits White's helmet. They start hugging and Parker hits off White's helmet. Still in hugging mode, Parker throws a couple of short rights. I almost thought he was fighting Brashear. | ||||

| Nov 27, 2001 | 3pd 15:49 | Ken Daneyko | @PIT | Billy Tibbetts |
| Comments: Started with the Pens getting a too many men on the ice call. After the pentaly off the faceoff, Tibbetts runs into Daneyko at the point, and off come the gloves. After a nice little square-off, Tibbetts starts to fire some rights as Daneyko gets in tight. After that, Tibbetts was trying to throw some more, but Daneyko has a hold of his arms. Tibbetts had Daneyko's helmet off and his jersey almost over his head. The refs came in, but Tibbetts kept shaking his head and continued to try to get to Daneyko. Kasparitius had to help separate Tibbetts from Daneyko. Daneyko didn't throw anything. | ||||

| Nov 30, 2001 | 3pd 08:36 | Colin White | @DET | Darren McCarty |
| Comments: McCarty was trying to get Scott Stevens to fight early in the third, Stevens says no but White had no problem. White starts with 2 or 3 rights and McCarty answers with 2 or 3 rights. They then get tangled up and White drops as McCarty does too. | ||||

| Dec 10, 2001 | 2pd 11:55 | Jim McKenzie | @CBJ | Jody Shelley |
| Comments: Mac starts off with a right that appears to land on Shelley's face. Both guys throw rights and Mac definitely lands a bomb to the face while Shelley comes up a bit short. Shelley follows with a right that doesn't do much while Mac attempts an uppercut that ends up in Shelley's armpit. A right from Shelley catches the back of McKenzie and both guys fire rights that hit nothing. Jostling for position now. Shelley gets loose with another right that means nothing. More hugging. Mac comes up and bounces a right off the back off Shelley's helmet and again off the right side of his helmet. Another right lands on the front of Shelley's helmet and may have got some face. Shelley's game, but he just can't get loose. In close - Both throw rights: Shelley comes up short again, Mac lands to the chest. Shelley is still tied up. Mac's not, and he lands another right to the side of the helmet. Again Shelley tries, but he's in a spiderweb. Mac lands an uppercut to the torso. Shelley finally gets a right loose but only hits shoulder. He follows with a nothing right uppercut. So does Mac. Mac comes under again and just misses Shelley's chin then he comes way over the top and misses. Shelley takes this opportunity and lands his best shot yet, a right to the side of Jim's head. Getting tired it looks like. Shelley's bent over. In come the linesmen. Shelley's a bit bloody. | ||||

| Dec 20, 2001 | 3pd 11:15 | Andreas Salomonsson | EDM | Marty Reasoner |
| Comments: There was a big scrum in front of the Oilers net after Salo covered up the puck. Stevens and Brown exchanged face-washes, Laraque was on the ice but didn't find a willing partner (with Jimmy Mac on the bench, Georges didn't look too interested). Salomonsson comes in and goes right to Reasoner, who saw him coming. These two were involved in a battle along the boards about 15 seconds before this scrum. Anyways, Reasoner sees Salomonsson coming, Salomonsson throws a punch, Reasoner drops his gloves and starts firing...Salomonsson's gloves are still on. Other Penalties: Reasoner received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct; Salomonsson a roughing minor. Andreas Salomonsson did not receive a fighting major. | ||||

| Dec 22, 2001 | 2pd 17:16 | John Madden | OTT | Mike Fisher |
| Comments: Not much of a fight here, as it's mostly just hugging. Not too many punches were thrown either, but Madden got the WWF-style takedown, as he literally picked up Fisher and slammed him to the ice. Other Penalties: Fisher received an instigator and misconduct. | ||||

| Dec 30, 2001 | 1pd 02:23 | Jim McKenzie | @EDM | Georges Laraque |
| Comments: Off the faceoff, the two heavyweights drop the gloves. McKenzie gets the jump, as he gets off a flurry of 6-7 lefts, all of which either hit Laraque's shoulderpads, or air. McKenzie goes down to a knee, and gets back up. Laraque then gets the helmet off of McKenzie and connects with 4-5 lefts to the back of Jimmy Mac's head. Both guys go down and the linesmen step in. | ||||

| Jan 09, 2002 | 2pd 17:05 | Mike Commodore | CAL | Chris Clark |
| Comments: In the corner they're pushing and shoving. Some mutual facewashes, and the gloves go down. Clark throws a couple of punches right away, possibly landing them, but doing no damage. Commodore then throws a few that miss. They're grappling, with Commodore having more control and throwing some punches that don't connect. They're then all tied up against the glass and the linesmen jump in. | ||||

| Jan 09, 2002 | 2pd 20:00 | Randy McKay | CAL | Bob Boughner |
| Comments: At the end of the 2nd period, these two decide to dance. Off come the gloves and the hugging madness ensues. They throw some "over-the-linesmen" punches, none landing though. Draw in a crap fight. Could have been called roughings. | ||||

| Jan 23, 2002 | 2pd 10:26 | Colin White | @FLA | Peter Worrell |
| Comments: Worrell laid a heavy hit on Niedermeyer, cartwheeling over the Devils defenseman after pushing him down. White confronted Worrell, Worrell just grabbed Colin with his left hand and basically threw him to the ground. When White got back to his skates, Worrell hit him with two solid rights, one opening a large gash under White's left eye. White was game, he tried to throw a series of punches. The announcers kept saying during and after the fight that they were good friends...they apparently played juniors at Hull together. | ||||

| Jan 23, 2002 | 3pd 17:43 | Jim McKenzie | @FLA | Peter Worrell |

| Jan 26, 2002 | 1pd 02:45 | Jim McKenzie | @MIN | Matt Johnson |
| Comments: McKenzie and Johnson go off the face-off. They get in close and then Jimmy Mac gets his right free. Throws about 5 shots lands a few including one pretty good uppercut. They tie each other up, and McKenzie lands at least one more. Johnson tried throwing some punches but did not land any. You can see Johnson is pissed at himself after the fight. | ||||

| Jan 30, 2002 | 2pd 07:17 | Jim McKenzie | CHI | Ryan VandenBussche |
| Comments: They go right off the draw after a Holik goal. The first two camera angles could have been better. The first one is your traditional far away shot from high up anytime there is a center ice faceoff. The second one they tried to get an ice level shot but the cameraman must have been getting into the fight because the camera was jumping all around! Anyway, they just start firing at each other right off the draw. All offense no defense. McKenzie really looks like he is nailing Vandy with lefts. Vandy landed some shots but was having trouble reaching Jim. Then, they stop and get in a little closer and get defensive. McKenzie is throwing some straight shots at Vandy, and Vandy is taking some, but takes a Domi style approach as he lowers his head and waits for an opening to throw a bomb. He tries 4 and lands 3, two real good ones. While he is doing that, about half of Jim's shots hit the mark. Then McKenzie lands a real good left, then an uppercut and one more and then he just wraps up Vandy. Maybe he felt he hurt VandenBussche and stopped. I don't know if that was the case because the linesmen were in no rush to break it up and Vandy really did not look hurt. Chico Resch said Mac outlands about 2 to 1. He also gave Vandy his due and said just before the game, Vandy was shadowboxing for about 3 minutes outside the locker room. | ||||

| Feb 10, 2002 | 1pd 03:48 | Colin White | BUF | Rhett Warrener |
| Comments: White checks Varada from behind. Warriner doesn't like it much and the two drop the gloves in front of the net while Varada's lying in the corner. A couple of small punches from each while they're both working around the tie-up. Nothing much going on. They fall, and it's over quickly. Retaliation for a dirty hit. Varada gets up shortly after and White's gone for the game. Other Penalties: White received a checking from behind major and game misconduct; Warriner an instigator and a misconduct. | ||||

| Feb 12, 2002 | 1pd 02:16 | Colin White | @BUF | Rob Ray |
| Comments: Retaliation for a cheap hit on Varada 2 nights ago. Right off the face-off they go - White throws six or seven quick rights and lands one on the jaw. Some grappling and Ray lands a few rights. That's it, nothing big. | ||||

| Feb 12, 2002 | 1pd 02:17 | Jim McKenzie | @BUF | Eric Boulton |
| Comments: Right after the Ray-White fight, off the very next faceoff as soon as the puck is dropped these two go. McKenzie appears to land a decent shot right away that surprised Boulton. Boulton tries to land a right, then Jim throws a few body shots. He then goes upstairs and misses with the momentum taking them down. | ||||

| Feb 12, 2002 | 1pd 13:12 | Randy McKay | @BUF | Rob Ray |

| Feb 26, 2002 | 1pd 05:29 | Jim McKenzie | @NYR | Steve McKenna |
| Comments: Fights starts behind the play. Jimmy Mac lands a straight right that seems to stun McKenna, who is struggling with his gloves and buries his face in McKenzie's shoulder. McKenzie lands some rabbit punches to the back of the head, as McKenna won't open up due to McKenzie's right being loose and cocked. McKenna goes for a headlock and pulls McKenzie down with him. | ||||

| Mar 01, 2002 | 1pd 04:59 | Jim McKenzie | TOR | Tie Domi |
| Comments: Domi went at Mckenzie off the faceoff. Domi slipped and got up quickly. He threw several lefts with most missing or landing on McKenzie's helmet. McKenzie landed a good right. Domi came back and landed two lefts. They then both hugged for the rest of the fight. | ||||

| Mar 04, 2002 | 2pd 03:15 | Colin White | @COL | Scott Parker |
| Comments: White looks to go after Parker, drops em first, then appears to look for a call from the refs. Parker then catches him with a shot to the body. As White turns away from the Sheriff, he loses his balance. Parker then throws 2 more, catching him with one that helps the falling White to the ice. Parker attempted one more with White down. | ||||

| Mar 05, 2002 | 3pd 04:46 | Randy McKay | @PHO | Todd Simpson |
| Comments: McKay charges into Simpson down near the Phoenix net. Simpson hooks McKay all the way up the ice. McKay turns and faces Simpson while Simpson shoves him. McKay throws a left with his glove on and Simpson responds with a left, then the gloves come off. Both lock up, McKay tries a left (Which failed) and Simpson threw some rights to the back of his head. Not much damage done, as Simpson's punches weren't very powerful. McKay was in real close with Simpson, so he couldn't get much velocity on those. McKay tries to turn but ends up getting off balance and Simpson lands on top of him. Not a great fight. | ||||

| Mar 25, 2002 | 1pd 03:32 | Jim McKenzie | FLA | Rocky Thompson |
| Comments: Rocky took at run at McKenzie, but they didn't go right away as NJ had a scoring chance. But then a little later in the shift, Rocky went right over to McKenzie and challenged him and away they went. Camera got there a little late, but when they got there McKenzie sort of had Rocky hunched over and Mac threw a short left or two. Rocky then got in position and they were each throwing lefts, all appearing to come up short. Rocky then appeared to get the right free and landed a decent shot. They then mutually decided that they'd had enough and the linesman came in. Decent fight, but not up to the Rocky normal toe-to-toe style. | ||||

| Mar 25, 2002 | 1pd 17:42 | Jim McKenzie | FLA | Peter Worrell |
| Comments: Worrell laid a tough hit on McKenzie near the Devils' bench that McKenzie didn't like, so McKenzie followed Worrell to the Panthers bench and said something to him. They then got into a shoving match and away they went. Worrell started off by landing a right, then McKenzie responded with a right. Worrell showed quick hands and snapped off about 5 quick rights to McKenzie's 2 and then wrestled him down. | ||||

| Mar 27, 2002 | 1pd 02:50 | Jim McKenzie | @PIT | Krzysztof Oliwa |
| Comments: First shift, Oliwa wanted this without a doubt. He got McKenzie in the neutral zone and was challenging him. McKenzie declined. The puck went into the Devils end and once again Oliwa sticked Big Mac, who this time dropped his stick and gloves. They tied up and Oliwa let go a few short rights. Big Mac mostly was grappling. Oliwa once again tried to throw a few more, but McKenzie wouldn't open up. McKenzie then tried his right, but Oliwa had a good hold of his jackhammer. Oliwa lost balance and fell down. He got back up and then the linesmen came in. | ||||

| Comments: Domi lands a good bodycheck on Brian Rafalski at the end of the second. A scrum ensues. Domi wants at Scott Stevens. Pandolfo comes in to push back Domi. Domi lands two lefts with the gloves on. They both drop the gloves. Domi lands about two lefts. He has Rafalski bent over with his left arm free, refs come in. | ||||

| Apr 01, 2002 | 1pd 18:38 | Patrik Elias | @NYI | Darren Van Impe |
| Comments: Scrum happens and Van Impe and Elias drop the gloves. Van Impe gets in some short lefts that connect as Elias just holds on. A couple more and the refs break it up. Other Penalties: Brad Isbister received a roughing and unsportsmanlike conduct; Bobby Holik an unsportsmanlike conduct. | ||||

| Apr 01, 2002 | 2pd 01:30 | Colin White | @NYI | Dave Scatchard |
| Comments: White and Scatchard are looking at each other about to go. Scatch keeps looking at the bench for permission. No one objects, and his gloves come off. White has the jump on this though and gets in a quick punch. Scatchard then throws two hard ones. The first buckles White's legs! The second doesn't hit quite as hard. Scatch then goes for the takedown, fight over. | ||||

| Apr 05, 2002 | 2pd 03:22 | Jamie Langenbrunner | @ATL | Dan Snyder |
| Comments: Snyder delivers every ounce of his 185 pounds on an explosive hit on Elias. Langenbrunner jumps into Snyder's face, and they immediately drop the gloves. Both landed about five each. No real damage, except for a small cut on Snyder's forehead. Other Penalties: Jeff Cowan and Patrik Elias received roughings; Langenbrunner an instigator and misconduct. | ||||
