Comments: Stastny and Allen collide against the boards near the blueline. They push and shove before skating away from each other and going further down ice. Stastny skates up to Allen and the two quickly drop the gloves. Allen lands a right, but is grabbed from behind by Zdeno Chara. The linesmen come in at the same time and separate all three while Chara and Allen exchange words. Other Penalties: Allen and Zdeno Chara each received a roughing.

Comments: Jokinen and Richards give each other a few shoves and pokes with the stick while they skate further down ice. The two talk for a little until Jokinen throws a gloved punch at Richards and they drop the gloves. Richards ties up Jokinen and pulls him further down ice. The two end up in front of the Lightning bench and Jokinen has a few words with a couple of players on the bench just before he connects with a right cross. Jokinen throws two more rights and Richards ducks underneath and pushes him up against the bench. Jokinen throws three rabbit punches to the back of Richards head before the linesmen come in.

Comments: Bertuzzi tries to grab Brad Richards off of Olli Jokinen, but he is intercepted by Craig and the two drop the gloves. Bertuzzi overpowers Craig and wrestles him to the ice. The linesmen rush over to break things up shortly after.

Comments: Behind the play the two drop the gloves and square off just inside of the blue line. Montador grabs ahold of Janssen and throws two lefts while Janssen throws two rights. Montador shakes off his elbow pad and throws a right cross just as Janssen lands a right that stuns him. Janssen then starts firing away with the right hand at a bent over Montador. Montador fights to keep his balance and move away from the punches, but he eventually falls to his knees while Janssen is still throwing. The linesmen quickly come in and grab the two right after.

Comments: Montador dumps the puck into the San Jose zone takes a hit from Clowe. They drop the gloves and Clowe starts off with a right while pinned up against the boards. They move away from the boards Clowe gets his right freed up enough to land an uppercut and then a quick overhand shot. Montador responds with a left and they start to spin while Clowe throws some rights. Montador is trying to throw more lefts, but loses his balance and falls to the ice allowing the linesmen to come in and break it up.

Comments: Janssen nails Juraj Kolnik with a hit along the boards and Montador goes right after him. They drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other with Janssen throwing three rights, connecting with two of them to begin the fight. Montador responds with a quick right, but Janssen is right there to answer with two of his own. Janssen throws another right just before shaking his elbow pad off, but Montador falls to the ice before any more damage can be done. The linesmen move in and the two are then separated. Other Penalties: Montador received an instigator and misconduct; Janssen a charging.

Comments: Mezei drills Paetsch into the boards, sending Paetsch down to the ice for a short moment. Paetsch stands back up and shoves Mezei twice before the two drop the gloves and tie up. They exchange rights and Paetsch goes down to his knees for a second. Mezei throws two uppercuts while Paetsch is getting back up. They exchange rights again and Mezei is able to connect with his punch, following with two more rights after that. They lose their balance and fall to the ice with Paetsch throwing two overhand rights just as the linesmen are coming in. Other Penalties: Paetsch received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Belak flattens Olli Jokinen along the boards prompting Allen to skate over to Belak. Allen waits until Belak gets to his feet and challenges him. The two drop quickly drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other. They exchange rights to start things off and Belak throws another right while trying to tie up Allen. Allen responds with a few jersey-jabs and Belak throws two long rights that miss. Allen gets his left free and connects with two jabs. Belak throws a right and then switches hands, throwing a left just as Allen connects with a right, knocking Belak's helmet off. Belak then connects with two uppercuts while Allen falls to the ice. The linesmen jump in and Belak gets in a right while they are down, but they are separated shortly after.

Comments: Right after the faceoff the two get their sticks up and start pushing and shoving. They then drop the gloves and quickly grab ahold of each other. Gratton throws two rights while Fisher is leaning away. Fisher comes back with a right cross and they go back and forth with rights. Gratton unleashes a flurry of right rights and Fisher switches hands, missing wide with an overhand left. Gratton misses with a right at the same time. They go back and forth with rights until Gratton swings Fisher around into the boards and lands a right. Fisher gets Gratton pinned up against the glass and throws two overhand lefts followed by two more lefts that are blocked by Gratton. Gratton answers with an inside right and then they hold on until the linesmen come in.

Comments: Campbell continues to poke away at Marc Denis to try and get the puck loose even though Denis has already covered it under his glove. Craig takes exception and goes after Campbell with the two dropping the gloves and grabbing ahold of each other behind the net. Craig shoves Campbell against the boards and then throws three rights and an uppercut. Campbell returns fire with an uppercut that connects and rattles Craig's helmet. Craig comes back with a right and then two then tumble to the ice. Campbell gets in a couple of rights while they are down, but the linesmen are right there to jump on top of them two and break things up.

Comments: Darren Reid collides with David Booth at center ice and knocks him down. Semenov takes exception and goes after Reid, causing a scrum to ensue along the side boards. Fedoruk grabs Semenov from behind and everything gradually calms down. Semenov turns around and they shove each other before having some words and then deciding to drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and wrestle around up against the glass. Semenov throws two short rights to the back of Fedoruk's helmet. Fedoruk cocks his right arm back and then throws a right to the back of Semenov. Semenov answers with a short right inside and Fedoruk then pushes Semenov to the ice with the linesmen coming in to separate them shortly after. Other Penalties: Semenov and Darren Reid each received a roughing.

Comments: These two tie up near the Panthers' net. As the puck moves up the ice they drop the gloves and square off. Neil takes a righty stance, Montador a southpaw. Montador grabs Neil and quickly lands a couple of lefts. Neil grabs Montador and gets his helmet off as they begin to grapple. They grapple and Neil attempts a couple of rights, then lefts, but he can't get his arm free enough to throw a full punch. Montador throws a right that Neil avoids. Montador starts to go down from the momentum and Neil turns him around. Montador gets up and Neil throws a big right that lands on Montador's back as Montador falls again. This time Montador makes it to the ice and Neil lands on top. The linesmen come in and break it up.
