Torres throws a big hit on Gleason behind the net. Gleason turns and pushes Torres, they go to the front of the net, drop the gloves and square off. They grab on to each other and Torres starts throwing punches, with a couple of uppercuts landing. Gleason comes back with a couple of weaker shots to the helmet and then they lose balance. Torres goes down on top of Gleason and lands a couple while on the ice.

The Oilers need a spark so Winchester decides to square off with Erskine. They each swing with Erskine throwing a few more. Erskine might have landed a couple of soft shots while Winchester didn't get in much of anything. They quickly fall to the ice and it's over.

Laraque and May decide to drop the gloves as soon as the puck is dropped. After a short square off Laraque grabs ahold of May getting him off-balance. May is in an awkward position as Laraque is letting loose with lefts. May gets sent to the ice and Laraque doesn't let up, but May still manages to get back on his feet. He doesn't get to straighten up before getting pulled back to the ice by the stronger Laraque. The linsemen then rush in to end the fight.

Laperriere gets hit by Semenov up along the boards and that's all it takes. They throw the gloves off and get it on near the faceoff circle. Semenov seems to be in better control of the fight as he locks out the smaller Laperriere. Semenov tries throwing quite a few jersey-punches, but they all come up short. Laperriere finally tries to sneak in a few of his own, but Semenov's reach has him locked out. The linsemen come in as they tire each other out. Other Penalties: Semenov received an elbowing.

Laperriere throws a hit on Smith as he clears the puck out of his own zone. They drop the gloves at center as Laperriere starts with three rights. Smith does a good job of blocking as they come up short. They tie up as Laperriere throws another right that comes up short. Smith throws inside with two quick right jabs then unloads two big rights to the back of Laperriere's head that send him down to the ice. Smith lands an uppercut as both fighters are on their knees and the linesmen come in to break it up.

Moreau drops his gloves and grabs on to Ott who has no intention of dropping them. Erskine comes in and scrum breaks out. A group including Moreau and Ott separate. Peca has a hold of Ott as Moreau starts firing uppercuts at will. Peca wasn't impeding Ott's ability to defend himself as he barely had a hold of his waist. After Moreau is done landing uppercuts, they spin a bit and Ott misses over the top and they fall to the ice. Other Penalties: Moreau received an unsportsmanlike conduct.

Smith pulls Erskine from the scrum that the Ott-Moreau fight started from. Doesn't look like much happens and Smith gets the takedown. Other Penalties: Each player received a game misconduct.

Edmonton scores and Mayers and Moreau drop the gloves off the ensuing faceoff. They grab on to each other and Mayers throws a right that Moreau ducks under. Moreau slips to the ice while ducking and brings Mayers with him. The linesmen come in and that's it.

Edmonton scores and it's now a 7-2 Edmonton lead with less than a minute left in the game. The Blues go offsides, the whistle blows and Smith skates in front of Hoggan and receives a shove. They drop the gloves and get in close. They wrestle for a moment and Hoggan throws some rights that land on Smith's left side. Smith attempts a couple of rights of his own, but he's having problems maintaining balance. They wrestle some and Hoggan takes down Smith, getting a right or two in before the linesmen rush in.

Smith runs over Mathias Tjarnqvist in the Oilers' end and Guerin skates right on over as play goes to the other end of the ice. The camera comes in late and shows Guerin and Smith going toe-to-toe with rights. Smith misses with a short right as they grab on and wait for the linesmen to come in and break things up. Other Penalties: Guerin received an instigator and misconduct.

They collide behind the Dallas net as the clock is winding down to end the game. Moreau pushes Ott up against the glass as a linesman runs over to quickly break things up. Moreau throws two gloved rights, shakes his glove off, and throws three more as the linesman is in between the two. Ott breaks free and lands a quick right as Moreau begins to skate away. Other Penalties: Ott received a hooking.

Hordichuk shoves Syvret into Markaanen and in comes Laraque and off come the gloves. Hordichuk comes in quickly as Laraque ducks a quick left. Laraque grabs on and begins to furiously throw right hands. Hordichuk starts returning fire and the two go toe-to-toe with Laraque getting in more shots. Hordichuk loses his balance, allowing Laraque to throw three more rights before Hordichuk tackles him to the ice.

The players start pushing and shoving after the Blue Jackets push the puck in the net after the whistle. Horcoff and Goertzen come out of the scrum. When the camera finally focuses in on the two, it shows Goertzen landing two rights as he wrestles Horcoff to the ice. Other Penalties: Steve Staios and Michael Rupp each received a roughing.

They drop the gloves right after the faceoff and square off. Laraque swipes to grab on to Boogaard and misses, but grabs hold of him the second time around. Boogaard throws a quick right as Laraque responds with two lefts. Laraque gets Boogaard's head down and throws a flurry of about 4-5 lefts that send Boogaard to the ice with Laraque on top.

They drop the gloves right after the faceoff and square off. Laraque reaches and pulls Godard towards him as he connects with a left. Laraque throws another left as Godard struggles to get loose. Laraque throws two lefts as Godard returns fire with 4-5 rights of his own. Godard throws three more rights as Laraque tries to get his hands free. They then lose their balance and fall to the ice with Laraque on top.

Simpson throws four lefts while Greene is bent over to begin the scrap. They wrestle around in tight as Greene lands a few rabbit punches to the face of Simpson before the two fall to the ice with Greene on top.

Dmitri Kalinin then skates in and grabs Smith as everyone piles in. Other Penalties: Smith received an instigator and misconduct; Dmitri Kalinin a game misconduct.

They talk while lined up for a faceoff and drop the gloves shortly after the puck is dropped. They square off and Fedoruk changes stances, from lefty to righty. Fedoruk moves in and grabs on awkwardly and throws a right and quickly moves to switch to the left. They exchange a couple of lefts, one knocking Fedoruk's helmet off, and Fedoruk tries to switch back to the right. Fedoruk misses with a right and Laraque takes over throwing a series of hard lefts, a few connecting cleanly, until Fedoruk is driven down to the ice. The linesmen quickly move in to break it up.

The two then go toe-to-toe with punches: Greene with rights, Boughner switching hands and going with the right as well. Greene gets the better of the exchange before pushing a bent over Boughner to the ice.

Directly after the faceoff, they drop the gloves, tie up and Laraque throws two quick lefts. Laraque then throws three rights, ripping Boogaard's helmet off in between punches as Boogaard throws a right cross. Laraque loses his balance and goes down to his knees before returning to his feet and fending off four straight rights from Boogaard that all come up short. Laraque turns Boogaard around and lands four rights to the back of his head. Laraque goes down to his knees again as Boogaard throws two rights to the back of Laraque's helmet. They wrestle around for a bit as Boogaard lands a right before the two exchange rabbit punches. They then exchange right hands and Laraque wrestles Boogaard to the ice and lands a right as they are falling. The linesmen seperate the two and Boogaard skates away with a small cut on the side of his face.

Right off of the faceoff, the two drop the gloves and square off near the side boards. Each player tries to grab ahold of one another before Shelley latches on to Laraque's jersey. Laraque throws a flurry of seven lefts with Shelley returning fire with three rights. They wrestle around and then Shelley lands a right flush to the side of Laraque's face before Shelley loses his balance and falls to the ice, bringing the linesmen in.

Henry then rips Greene's helmet off and throws two short uppercuts and four rights to the back and side of Greene's head while Greene tries to move away from the punches. They grapple and Henry lands an uppercut and two rights to the back of Greene's head before the two fall to the ice.

Boogaard returns to his feet as Laraque connects with two rights to the back of Boogaard's head while he is bent over. They wrestle around, each trying to get an arm free and Laraque throws three lefts before Boogaard returns fire with four wild rights. The two grapple some more and Boogaard connects with a right before the two go down to their knees. They return to their feet as Laraque throws Boogaard down to the ice and the linesmen come in.

Right off of the faceoff the two drop the gloves and square off near the blueline. Winchester switches stances multiple times before grabbing ahold of Parros and throwing a right that is blocked. They then go back and forth with wild rights, trying to keep their balance. Parros throws three rights, puts Winchester's jersey over his face, and throws another right before Winchester falls to the ice. A linesman tries to dive in, but misses, causing Parros to hold up and let the linesmen intervene.

Right off of the faceoff, the two drop the gloves and square off near the side boards. Laraque grabs ahold of Simon while Simon fights to keep his balance. Laraque throws two lefts, knocking Simon's helmet off while they spin around. Simon comes back with a left of his own, followed by six straight lefts by Laraque, four of them landing, before the two spin to the ice. Laraque falls on top of Simon and his shoulder hits Simon's face, pushing the back of his head down into the ice. The back of Simon's head splits open and blood starts dripping onto the ice. The linesmen separate the two and Laraque waves his hands in the air, asking the crowd to make some noise. Simon goes back to the dressing room for repairs.

Gratton gives Winchester a few taps with his stick while the two skate along the blueline. The two then drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other, each throwing two simultaneous rights. Both players lose their balance and try to stay on their feet as Winchester throws an off-balance right. Winchester turns around and Gratton misses with an overhand right before the two fall to the ice. Gratton quickly gets back to his feet and is ready to continue, but the linesmen are right there.
