Comments: They line up next to each other and go right off the draw. Mayers gets in a couple of good rights which looked to sting Shanny a bit. Shanahan then gets the right going and throws about four good rights, two to the side of the head and two to the back of the head, getting Mayers off-balance and sending him to the ice. Other Penalties: Shanahan received a misconduct.

Comments: Barnaby is tripped up and falls into Legace. Fischer believes it was done on purpose and goes after Barnaby. Fischer grabs ahold of him and starts throwing about 9-10 rights to the back of Barnaby's helmet while Barnaby is trying to duck away from the punches. They tie up and Fisher gets Barnaby's helmet off. Barnaby shakes off his elbow pad and throws a right. Fischer comes back with three to the side of Barnaby's head. The linesman start to come in and Barnaby shakes his head, letting them know that he isn't finished just yet. They each exchange rights. Both fighters struggle to get free and Barnaby lands a right to the side of Fischer's head. Fischer is obviously fatigued and trying to keep away from Barnaby's punches. Barnaby doesn't have the reach to get to Fischer's head so he throws some body shots as the linesmen come in.

Comments: Sean Avery attempts to check Shanahan into the boards, but is caught by Shanahan's elbow. Gleason goes after Shanahan in retaliation and they drop the gloves. Shanahan starts off with four rights before Gleason comes back with a flurry of shots. They exchange right hands as they go into the boards. Shanahan rips off Gleason's helmet and continues to throw rights as Gleason returns fire with some rights of his own. They wrestle around as Shanahan switches hands and misses with a left. Gleason loses his balance and goes down to his knees, throwing body shots while he is down. Shanahan goes down with him and the linesmen come in to break things up. Afterwards Shanahan is in the box with a towel to his face, soaking up some blood and Gleason is shown holding an icepack on his hand. Other Penalties: Shanahan received a roughing.

Comments: Shanahan and Hartnell start pushing and shoving in front of the Nashville net before they drop the gloves. The two tie up and skate behind the net while Scott Walker tries his best to get involved before being restrained. Shanahan throws two overhand rights to the back of Hartnell's head before Hartnell falls to the ice.

Comments: The two shove each other before dropping the gloves and squaring off at center ice. Cross throws three uppercuts while Ott goes down to his knees for a short moment. Ott returns to his feet and struggles to get an arm free while Cross continues to throw rights. Cross then throws nine straight rights at a bent over Ott. Ott returns fire with a few rights while Cross loses his balance and falls, forcing the linesmen to come in and end the fight.
