Comments: After Vernon Fiddler hits Kevin Bieksa with the puck, Bieksa fires it back at him. Players gather near the benches and Bieksa goes in looking for a fight. He throws a couple of punches at Fiddler before Greg de Vries rips him out of the pile and the two square off at center ice. Bieksa lands a quick left as they grab ahold of each other. de Vries ducks under a right and then lands a right of his own that knocks Bieksa down. de Vries gets in another right as he follows Bieksa down but Bieksa rolls back to his knees and gets in a right on a downed de Vries. They get back to their feet but two of the officials are right there to break things up. Other Penalties: Bieksa received an instigator and misconduct. Vernon Fiddler did not receive a fighting major.
