Anyone who thinks this was anything other than a Draw is nuts.

Furthermore, it was a clean hit and Zeiler is not a fighter. Complaining about him having a visor on is ridiculous when a guy comes at him to fight. Now, if they agree to fight and square off, then he should take his helmet off first. But in this case, Fiddler came at him in such a way that he had to drop the gloves and protect himself. Also, how was he to throw punches when Fiddler had him in a headlock.

Zeiler's a good, hard-nosed player.

For some of you "know it alls", John Zeiler is not a fighter. Fiddler has been on this site with about 5 or 10 video clips. This I'm pretty sure is Zeiler's first. Maybe the guy who got drilled with the check shouldn't have been a puss and stuck up for himself. Instead Fiddler rushes in to ****en mug the guy. Hmmm, a guy who fights against a guy who doesn't. By the way, watched the whole game, and the Kings were checking these guys all over the place. Ivanins scored a ****in goal!Where was Hordichuk?

Boring fight. Complete hug-fest. The up-close jab did absolutely nothing and it looked more like a wrestling match

Ok show by both player.
Mostly dancing, but tough lol.
Not many punches thrown by either here.
Zeiler did have landed a decent one, but looked like does come shortly to the side of Fiddler's head.
Fiddler threw back a couple.
A draw.

Zeiler was trying sooooooo hard to pull a Semenov, that would have been hysterical to have two bench tosses in one week. It would have been better if he was dunking the Fiddler's head into a tub of Gatorade on the other side of the wall.

Oh and by the way, I despise the Preds

Has Alexi Semenov started a new fight trend? If you can't beat the guy, throw 'em in the bench. It seemed Zeiler saw that fight too and wanted to try it out. Fiddles didn't go in though.....too bad.
Draw

This was not a fight. Both should have received a match penalty for excessive hugging.

Not a fight no one wins.

This fight was a clear draw. Zeiler will run at anybody, Pronger sized or smaller. He has a big heart and he stood in there. Nothing really landed but the clear stength winner in the wrestling match was Zeiller. Fiddler was sticking up for his guy. All in all, much ado about nothing.
Dead Even....

How the heck is a guy supposed to take his visor off when another player rushes at him with dropped gloves? This is Zeiler's first NHL scrap and I agree with mailman. Kudos for Johnny for standing up and taking on Fiddler.

You guys that think Fiddler is a scrapper need to wake up......A fighter he is not.....I agree it was a pretty clean hit, but a bad spot to hit someone like that cause the glass isn't there th help even up the blow. Instead the bottom half of Zannon stops and the top goes over the wall, he's lucky he didn't get a serious back injury ......But hey, since when is a teammate taking up for another in the heat of the moment a bad thing........Come on people this is hockey, and this was a HUGFEST between two non fighters.

mostly shoving but Zeiler did try to run but had to get caught by two preds before Fiddler got him

Zeiler's a kid. He's a scrappy player and he held his own. He's not a fighter but he took on Fiddler. Go ZEILER!

I think Zeiler has watched too much WWE.
