Nice, fair square off at center ice. They lock up and start throwing short, quick rights. McCarthy starts first and Kordic follows quickly. Right after right land while they're in close range of each other. Looks like about a dozen shots per guy. McCarthy's seem to land better and the last shot buckles Kordic and McCarthy lands on top of him.

Behind the play, McCarthy and Poeschek agree to go and have a nice square off at center ice. McCarthy misses with a left hook and they come together. They both start flailing with the lefts, slightly hindered by their own jerseys. Both stop throwing to get their right arms out of their jerseys completely and grab on again. After trying to maneuver for position, McCarthy throws a surprising overhand left that hits the back of Poeschek's helmet. Trying to recover, Poeschek loses his balance and they fall over with McCarthy on top.

Behind the play these two drop the gloves and square off. Vukota dives in first, letting McCarthy land a couple of weak rights. They straighten up and both start throwing toe-to-toe, with Vukota's lefts landing squarely. As they get slightly off-balance, McCarthy switches to throwing a few lefts and Vukota is unable to stay on his feet.
