| Comments: Behind the play, Probert and McSorley push and shove each other until they finally decide to drop the gloves. They tie up with Probert throwing two body shots just before the two exchange a couple of rights. Probert continues to throw body shots and try and get his arm out of McSorley's grasp while McSorley returns fire with a right. The two grapple for a short while until Probert gets loose and just misses with an uppercut inside. Probert then throws an uppercut and right hand while McSorley fights to get his jersey down from over his head. McSorley's jersey comes off and he throws seven straight rights to the side of Probert's face and helmet. Probert throws three rights that are blocked before connecting with a long right hook. McSorley fires back with two rights and Probert throws another uppercut just before landing a big right that knocks McSorley down to his knees. McSorley pops back up and the two exchange multiple rights while they skate into the boards with McSorley switching to the left and Probert staying with the right. McSorley switches back to the right and the two stand back and go back and forth with numerous rights, each connecting with almost all of their punches until the linesmen see an opening and finally end this long, long fight. McSorley skates away with a cut over his left eye. | ||||
