| Comments: Webb drills Hoglund with a clean hit after Hoglund was admiring a dump in. Hoglund goes down and Domi goes to challenge Webb. In comes Godard and they throw down. Domi lands a right when they first drop them, then they tie up and Domi tries to get him spinning. He comes underneath and lands a good uppercut, then Godard pulls him in and lands two decent shots to Domi. Domi gets off one more uppercut that grazes Godard, and Godard possibly landed one or two more in close, with Domi also getting one more off. Then the linesman come in. | ||||

| Comments: Godard throws a check in the Panther's corner. Charging call. Mediocre delayed penalty going on. Panthers bring the puck up the ice. Webb throws a check too. No-no in this game. Another penalty. Isles touch the puck, whistle blown, players start coming together. Andreas Lilja grabs onto Eric Godard and Godard sheds the gloves. A few punches from Godard connect ok, but Lilja is not shaken and responds with a few of his own. Godard is trying to throw and falls to a knee. He gets up and cracks Lilja with a right sending him towards the ice. Lilja gets up promptly, but the linesmen have already rushed in. Other Penalties: Steve Webb received an interference; Godard a charging. | ||||

| Comments: Starts in center ice. Godard is looking for all opportunities. They shed the gloves and Dingman gets in a couple of quickies. Now Godard's turn, he unleashes some rights. They're grappling and each throwing a couple. Godard almost slips, regains his balance and throws a couple of more, connecting with them. More grappling and Dingman just wants it to end, hugging away. Dingman pulls Godard on top of him. | ||||

| Comments: Worrell is using his height advantage as Godard is pushing him along the glass, Worrell is throwing a couple of nice right hands and Godard is throwing left (Godard's hand is tied up in his jersey). Worrell lands about 3-4 good shots and Godard answers with 1-2, while trying to switch hands. | ||||

| Comments: PJ and Godard are going at it toe-to-toe along the benches, excellent bout with both guys swinging and switching hands. Some landing, some missing. Each guy lands a few in an entertaining one. Godard, up against the boards, loses his balance. | ||||

| Comments: Right after the Cairns-Brash fight, they line up against each other. The puck drops, and do the gloves on these two. Pretty open fight. At first Godard tried to get Fedoruk's helmet off, but after some trouble, just started swinging. Godard easily landed more punches in this slug-out, and the better ones. Fedoruk looked pretty beaten up with a cut on his eye. Still a good show. | ||||

| Comments: Nice long squareoff near the benches. They finally get a hold of each other and start throwing some good punches. Godard starts to land a few more and has Roy bent sideways and lands a couple. Roy answers and Godard throws a left and Roy answers with his own again as the linesmen come in. Good, very energetic fight. After the linesmen stepped in Roy throws a punch at Godard and then pushes away one of the linseman, he gets tossed. Other Penalties: Roy received a game misconduct. | ||||

| Comments: The two drop their gloves and squareoff. Lessard is ducking real low and as the two come in to each other he has an upward motion that wobbles Godard a bit. Godard quickly regains his balance and these two open up and start chucking them hard! Godard with the rights, Lessard with the lefts. Nice and even at this point. They spin a bit, still throwing and this one's already a good one. Lessard now starts getting in a few unanswered shots and it's starting to look like that could be it when Godard returns fire with some really powerful shots - one makes Lessard's knees half-buckle, but he didn't go down on that one or the next shot which was almost as hard. It's looking like this could be the end and the linesmen come in fast. Nice showing by both guys, great fight. | ||||
