Comments: Boynton and Tootoo meet in the far corner and quickly drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and start going toe-to-toe: Boynton with rights, Tootoo with the left hand. Boynton connects with a right that sends Tootoo to the ice, but Tootoo is able to collect himself and get back up to his feet. Boynton throws a right and Tootoo answers with an uppercut before the two go toe-to-toe once again for a split second. They then hold on until the linesmen skate over and break things up. Other Penalties: Jerred Smithson received a double roughing; Dennis Seidenberg a roughing.

Comments: Sopel steps out of the penalty box and absolutely annihilates Dave Scatchard with an open-ice hit. Oleg Saprykin is the first to go after Sopel, but flips right over him. Boynton comes from the other end of the ice, drops his gloves, and grabs Sopel. Sopel is already down to his knees and Boynton starts feeding him lefts while he covers up. The linesmen rush in and quickly save Sopel by grabbing the two. Other Penalties: Boynton received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct. Brent Sopel did not receive a fighting major.

Comments: Barnaby skates around the net and hits Mike Comrie from behind, knocking him to the ice. Boynton takes exception and challenges Barnaby with the two exchanging a few words just before they drop the gloves and tie up. Boynton throws an early right and the two grapple for position. Barnaby throws two rights to the back of Boynton's helmet and shakes his elbow pad off shortly after. Boynton returns fire with a left and the two continue to exchange lefts and rights while in tight. Barnaby gets Boynton's helmet off and lands a right while telling the linesmen to back off. Boynton pushes Barnaby against the glass and they exchange another series of short rights and lefts before the linesmen are now called in by Barnaby to end the fight.

Comments: Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and square off near the side boards. Beauchemin fakes Boynton out by skating towards him really fast only to turn back the other way. Beauchemin then grabs ahold of Boynton's jersey and starts to lead with the left hand, throwing a couple while Boynton answers with a few rights of his own. Beauchemin starts to lose his balance and falls to his knees while Boynton continues to throw rights. Beauchemin scrambles to his feet and Boynton goes ahead and throws two uppercuts. Beauchemin spins them to the ice and they quickly get back to their feet only to separate and square off once again. However the linesmen decide that they want to end the fight early and intervene.

Comments: Smith goes after Fredrik Sjostrom in retaliation for a hit put on Ales Hemsky, causing Boynton to grab Smith along the boards. Boynton drops his gloves and throws a few rights while the two are bent over into the Oilers' bench. Smith is able to turn Boynton and then slam him to the ice where he gets in a couple or rights just as the linesmen are coming in to grab them and break things up. Other Penalties: Smith received an elbowing.

Comments: Behind the play they drop the gloves and grab ahold one of one another at the blueline. Jacques throws a right to start things off. Boynton misses with a right hook and that allows Jacques to connect with three straight rights that send Boynton falling to the ice. The linesmen quickly move in and separate Jacques who skates away to the penalty box. Boynton is slow to get up and eventually makes his way back to the locker room on his own power.
