| They lock up agianst the boards and when they get away from the boards they start to throw punches. Ferguson lands a few weak glancing blows with the left and Mayers responds with some nice rights that force Ferguson to duck his head and let the zebras come in. | ||||

| Started as a battle for the puck along the boards behind the Oilers' net. Ferguson was all over Avery. Avery turned to face Ferguson and they looked ready to go. But they didn't just yet. They skated around the net and Avery dropped his gloves and started first. Ferguson dropped his right away and the fight was on. Avery started with some good rights, maybe 5, but it was hard to see if they landed or not because the linesman got in the way of the camera. Ferguson tried to tie up the right, but that wasn't working, so he decided to throw some left hand shots. The first two landed rather stiff, as they made Avery stop punching and duck his head. Ferguson followed those two punches up with about 4 more lefts but they didn't land too well. Avery came back with some more rights that didn't seem to connect, then Avery pulled off a pretty good move, ducking under Ferguson's left arm and coming out the other side, leaving the back of Ferguson's head wide open. Avery couldn't capitalize on this as Ferguson went down. | ||||

| Petrovicky levels Reasoner with a solid, clean check. Smith didn't like it though, and he went after Petrovicky. Berube comes in from behind and hits Smith in the back of the head. Big scrum along the boards. Boughner and Ferguson emerge from the scrum and tie each other up. Boughner gets the right free, which in turn allows Ferguson to fire a left. Swing and a miss. Boughner throws 3 or 4 shots which hit helmet. Ferguson then goes down. Short fight. Other Penalties: Craig Berube received a roughing; Jason Smith a double roughing. | ||||

| McKay wanted a piece of Brewer, but that didn't happen. Brewer skated to the bench. Marchant came over and shoved McKay, who shoved back. Staios came in and it looked like they were gonna go, but Staios also skated off to the bench. On came Ferguson, and off came the gloves. In-tight grappling now, as they have each other tied up pretty good. Ferguson tries some lefts, 3 or 4, which landed, but weakly because of McKay's grip on Ferguson's left arm. McKay respnods with some rights which land to the helmet. More in tight grappling. Ferguson tries a left, but misses and is off-balance. McKay connects with a couple of right jabs and down goes Ferguson with McKay on top. | ||||
