| They start scrapping behind the net. McKay gets off the first few shots, about 4 rights that land, but nothing major. Domi then comes back with the lefts, and he lands some good hard punches, maybe 5 or so. One punch/push (it wasn't a square-on punch) puts McKay on the seat of his pants on the ice, and Domi didn't stop punching right away. He kept going after he had knocked McKay down. Perhaps he thought this would make up for turtling against McKenzie, but it didn't. Other Penalties: Domi received an interference. | ||||

| Scrum in front of the Toronto net and after a while Roberts and McKay work themselves free. Roberts throws the first 5 or 6 punches and lands 3 to McKay's helmet. McKay throws a few that miss, then Roberts lands a good left. Some wrestling and they go down. Other Penalties: Scott Gomez and Tomas Kaberle received roughings. | ||||

| At the end of the 2nd period, these two decide to dance. Off come the gloves and the hugging madness ensues. They throw some "over-the-linesmen" punches, none landing though. Draw in a crap fight. Could have been called roughings. | ||||

| McKay charges into Simpson down near the Phoenix net. Simpson hooks McKay all the way up the ice. McKay turns and faces Simpson while Simpson shoves him. McKay throws a left with his glove on and Simpson responds with a left, then the gloves come off. Both lock up, McKay tries a left (Which failed) and Simpson threw some rights to the back of his head. Not much damage done, as Simpson's punches weren't very powerful. McKay was in real close with Simpson, so he couldn't get much velocity on those. McKay tries to turn but ends up getting off balance and Simpson lands on top of him. Not a great fight. | ||||

| McKay wanted a piece of Brewer, but that didn't happen. Brewer skated to the bench. Marchant came over and shoved McKay, who shoved back. Staios came in and it looked like they were gonna go, but Staios also skated off to the bench. On came Ferguson, and off came the gloves. In-tight grappling now, as they have each other tied up pretty good. Ferguson tries some lefts, 3 or 4, which landed, but weakly because of McKay's grip on Ferguson's left arm. McKay respnods with some rights which land to the helmet. More in tight grappling. Ferguson tries a left, but misses and is off-balance. McKay connects with a couple of right jabs and down goes Ferguson with McKay on top. | ||||
