Comments: They squared off after the first Ducks goal, and they come together. Laraque rips the helmet off Sawyer and connects with 3 lefts. Sawyer goes to his knees, but gets back up and gets a good left in. Laraque answers with a couple more lefts and ragdolls Sawyer. Sawyer landed what appeared to be 2 good punches in the fight, and Laraque appeared to land approx. 7 or 8 punches (not all good shots), but at least 3 very good solid punches.

Comments: Thornton gets started first and fires a few punches, some of which land. Laraque then loses his balance, but comes back and overpowers Thornton with his counter punches, and knocks Thornton to his knees. Laraque throws a couple more as the linesmen come in.

Comments: Square off at Islanders blue-line. You can hear the anticipation in the crowd. The fight doesn't live up to expectations though. Cairns comes in first, and Laraque gets the helmet off and lands 3 lefts to the back and side of Cairns' head. Cairns goes to the ice off balance with Laraque on top.

Comments: With his team down 2-0 early, Shelley seeks out Laraque and challenges him. Laraque obliges and they square off. They come together and a good toe-to-toe ensues, Laraque with wild lefts, Shelley with wild rights. About 5 punches each. Hard to tell whether or not they landed. Shelley throws about 3 more looping rights which didn't look to connect, Laraque loses his balance. Laraque regains his balance and tries a couple of lefts, which again didn't seem to connect fully. Shelley loses his balance and goes down.

Comments: They square off, Hordi loses a contact lense, and they just pick up unsportsmanlikes. With Hordichuk's contact back in place these guys are ready to go and go they do. Hordichuk started going fast with the rights as Laraque gets Darcy's helmet off. They then go rapid fire with Hordichuk thowing rights and Laraque lefts. Laraque's punches however are doing more and Hordichuk goes down from the barrage of punches.

Comments: Johnson finishes his check on Marchant. A good, clean hard check which Laraque didn't take too kindly to. They drop the gloves and immediately start grappling. Laraque gets the helmet off of Matt's head. More grappling. Johnson tries a left, comes up short. Laraque lands a good jab and Johnson ends up on the ice (lost his balance).

Comments: Johnson went to hit Laraque, but Laraque got the arm up to protect himself, may have got the elbow up. Johnson didn't like that, so he took a run at Laraque and nailed him with a good hit which took both guys down. Johnson gets up first and stares at Laraque. Off come the gloves. In-tight grappling between the two. Johnson loses his balance and Laraque goes down on top.

Comments: With the Oilers down 1-0 early, Laraque seeks out Shelley and challenges him. Shelley hesitates, seeing his team may have a scoring chance, but when the puck is cleared from the zone, the gloves come off. They squareoff, Shelley switches to a southpaw stance. Laraque comes in first and gets the helmet off. Shelley is also jockeying for position. Laraque throws 3-4 lefts which appear to be glancing blows. Shelley throws a couple rights, which also appear to be glancing blows. Laraque loses his balance and Shelley loses his as well. Both hit the ice and this one's over.

Comments: You knew this would happen. Right off the faceoff, the gloves come off. Laraque starts off by ripping Belak's helmet off and connects with a few lefts. Belak rights himself and starts throwing a few rights. Wrestling now. Laraque tries a couple more lefts. More wrestling. Laraque throws two rights to the back of Belak's head. Belak throws a right hand to the side of Georges's head. Laraque gets the takedown.

Comments: They come together in the neutral zone and off come the gloves. McKenna throws two left uppercuts, one which lands. Laraque throws three solid left hands. McKenna is now turned around and Laraque is just throwing left after left at the back of McKenna's head. Linesmen jump in.

Comments: Oilers down 5-1, Laraque goes to the biggest Wing on the ice (Kuznetsov) and picks a fight. They drop the gloves and Maxim goes for the hug. Laraque is throwing lefts, but not hitting much as Kuznetsov is holding on for his life. Laraque throws some more lefts which hit the back and side of Kuznetsov's head, then the linesmen come in and stop the fight.

Comments: Odgers gets the jump as he pulls Laraque's jersey over his head and lands two or three rights. Laraque then manhandles Odgers, gets his jersey over his head and goes to town with a flurry of lefts to the face. Down goes Odgers. He seemed overwhelmed by those lefts, hard to tell if it was a TKO.

Comments: Laraque challenges Low off the faceoff and away they go. They tangle up immediately, Laraque lands a pretty good left. Low just holding on now as Laraque tries to get the helmet off. Low throws 3 weak rights, then Laraque gets the helmet off. Laraque throws a couple of more lefts, and Low loses his grip on Georges' left arm. Laraque is loose now and Low bails as Laraque is chasing him down trying to connect with lefts. Low hits the ice and this one's over.

Comments: Belak takes Chimera down on a potential two-on-one. Laraque skates after Belak and the two meet up in the corner. In-tight grappling. Belak tries a left as Laraque throws a couple. Laraque throws a couple more, and Belak is pulling Laraque's shirt over his head. Belak goes down and the linesmen jump in. Other Penalties: Belak received a holding.
