Take downs usually equate to being on the "short end of the stick." Kesler may interpret that idiom differently. Edge Ladd.

I appreciate the mutual lid toss, but Ladd seemed to win it with the opening, and only...
punch of the fight.
Strange takedown.

hey Cogfan. As per your classy comment below

"your a ****in joke and not a canuck fan at all please leave BC"

Nice comment, you sound like a real classy fan, one of the ones that gives us a bad name. You better put your laser away you tried to use on Kiprusoff a few weeks ago. A real fan admits when they have losers, Kesler is an embrassment to the game picking Ladd up and trying to hurt him. It is pretty typical of him. You must have spent too much time watching WWF as a child, time to take your Hulk Hogan poster down.

Sorry posters for this classy comment. Most of us Canuck fans have more class.

One of the better lead jabs I've seen in awhile..is it enough to register a TKO ?? No points given to Kesler for the take-down. W Ladd.

kesler is going to crack someones head open with his gutless take downs,if he cant man up then he shouldnt scrap.easy win for ladd ,he tagged kesler and kesler bailed with the leg flip.

Love the quick left by Ladd, hate the bail-out leg hold by Kesler. You fight, you're gonna get hit. Might as well suck it up and stay in there.

Win for Ladd. Kesler should keep his mouth shut. What a dope.

Two evenly matched guys both in size and fighting experience going at it here. The home town boy Ladd takes this one with the only punch of the fight. What's with Kesler trying to fight all of these BC boys?
Anyways, good on both of them for not being pu$$ies and using the Calgary rule, with both guys taking off the lids. That's the way it should be done and quite often is unless you have that ugly Flaming C on the front of your jersey.
Chicken**** move by Kesler by going for the takedown though. That **** is dangerous and deserves an extra penalty in my opinion. Ryan, that move is weak. We got rid of Mike Brown who liked doing that garbage so we don't need you to take his place.

ladd with the clear win in a quick fight. kesler utilized the patented avery/***** leg-grab takedown for some strange reason. i guess he wanted the fight to end real quickly and wasn't prepared for getting punched in the face. funny, seeing as he seemed so ready to fight. the best part is he talked trash about ladd being a sissy!
