I don't see any winner in this one.

NO WINNER
Byers early, Glass late
Glass's punch didn't hit perfectly to the target later.

I don't see how this was an overwhelming victory for Glass. He may have landed a good punch to knock off Byers helmet but there were not a lot of punches thrown.

Not too much going on but a slight edge to Glass.
ClaireAlexande, I think that everybody knows that you're a biased f**kin idiot but now we all know that you're a BLIND biased f**kin idiot. Do you even watch the games or do you just base your totally uncredible analysis strictly on who you hate the most? Bieksa WAS trying to go with Byers in the earlier melee. He actually went after the 2 toughest Rangers(Byers and Voros) that were in uniform during that altercation and who were actually the two toughest Rangers dressed in the game period. Maybe actually watch the game or at the very least the highlights before you start spewing your garbage. Did you want him to walk up one of the isles into the press box at GM Place and try and fight Brashear? Give your head a shake you jackass!

Hey Claire - Please stop getting your seeing eye dog to try and translate the fights and altercations over to you. If you actually WATCHED the game, you would have seen Kesler get jumped by 3 or 4 Rangers, with 2 of those Rangers being Voros and Byers. Bieksa jumped in to aid his teamate and grabbed both of those guys out of the pile at the same time. He could have grabbed Girardi and another of the Rangers non fighters if he was such a poser but he didn't. Like I said, he went after the two toughest Rangers on the ice. So how is that waiting for the linseman to jump in. You've obviously never played hockey before if you think that players are going to wait for the linseman to jump in, in a situation like that. Bieksa has dropped the gloves with both Moen and Tootoo, both of whom are at or near the top of the MW/LHW class, so do you honestly think that he would be scared of either Voros or Byers? You better keep shaking your head because I think that your eyes are still stuck.

Claire, you really are as sharp as an orange aren't you? If you had played hockey, you would know that you jump into the pile regardless of if the refs are in there or not because that's the last thing that you are thinking about. Tootoo isn't one of the top LHW/MW in the league eh? Maybe stick your pointy little nose into the forums for a chnge and then tell me if most people don't have him at or near the top because he's widely regarded as such. No too sure what Burrows has to do with anything because at least he dropped the gloves and the helmet unlike most of the Flames(can you hear me Phaneuf or Iginla). I also noticed that you didn't mention anything about Moen, hmmmmm... I wonder why?Once again, you have just proved your ignorance and lack of knowledge.
Face it, you have a hate on for Bieksa as well as all of the Nucks and it totally clouds your judgement. Worst coast eh, you would be so lucky to live here rather than in that frozen dump that you reside. Thought by most worldwide as one of the most beautiful cities in the world and you rip into it and you're from Calgary? If that wasn't so funny it would be sad but once again, you just showed your ignorance and idiocy. I'd like to see a poll from people on which city that they would prefer to live in just so we can shut your uneducated yap up.

Claire - All your doing now is completely embarrasing yourself and I find it quite humourous. You've already proven that you didn't even watch the game or the highlites because if you had, you would have seen Bieksa dive into the pile and grab the 2 toughest Rangers. Like I said, if he was such a poser, then he would have went after Girardi and/or somebody else but he didn't. He grabbed both Voros and Byers and was actually stuck with both of those guys at the same time at one point. Like I mentioned before, you have obviously never played any hockey or any other sport for that matter because if you had, the last thing that you think of is if/when the refs might show up. You have so much adrenaline going that you don't hear or think of anything you just react. He was trying to protect his teamate and that's it. You've admitted that you despise the Nucks and especially Bieksa, so right there you lose all credibility because you're just basing your comments on personal hatred and not actual fact. So you deal with that because that's fact and you've already admitted it.
As for Tootoo, like I said, try and expand your horizons and actually check out the forums. There's some actual non biased(unlike yours) opinions on there and he's at the top of most guys lists. Just because he's a puke doesn't exclude the fact that he's at or near the top. But once again, it sounds like you base your opinions of him on personal hatred and not results. By the way, that fight of his with Burrows was a lot of nothing but at least Burrows dropped the gloves and lid.
Claire, let's face it, you would need a siamese twin to be able to get your IQ into the double digits. The fact that you moved from Vancouver to Calgary just proves that. We do have our problems here, as does any city including your beloved Calgary, but there's a lot more people leaving that **** box moving here than there is the other way around. Also, although I didn't want to continue this discussion in this forum, I knew that you would be too dense to figure out that you have a personal message board and that's where the "yacking it up" should take place. But given the fact that you might one day accidentally click onto it, I will leave you a PM(personal massage) as well.

Not sure why Byers would get a suspension for "instigating". Sure he went after Glass...but it wasn't like Glass wasn't a willing participant...

Haha Byers ~ Voros must have tought you how to fight didn't he. Your such a clown Byers. First you run around trying to fight Cal Clutterbuck and take a penalty ~ Now you do get someone to fight you and get your but kicked. Go back to Hartford.
