Comments: A scrum starts in front of the Philadelphia net with all of the players getting involved. Dan Kordic grabs ahold of Rob Ray while Snow puts a glove into Ray's face, forcing Shields to skate down ice and challenge Snow. The two come within a few feet of each other, but a linesman skates over and separates them. They skate over to each other again and Snow drops his blocker just before ripping Shields mask off. Players come jumping in while one of the linesman tries to get the two goalies away from one another. Snow and Shields start throwing punches at each other while the linesman tries to duck out from under them. Shields connects with four rights to the side of Snow's mask and Snow gets in a right of his own. They grapple in front of the Buffalo bench until the linesmen skate over and grab them. Shields throws three overhand rights over the linesmen just before the two are finally sent to the dressing room. Other Penalties: Shields received a leaving the crease penalty; Snow a leaving the crease and roughing; Brad May and Dan Lacroix each received a roughing and misconduct; Rob Ray a misconduct.

Brad May is such a pxxxy, keeping his gloves on and acting really tough.

Props to Shields for going down the ice and throwing. What's up with May skating up and throwing a gloved punch into the middle of a goalie fight?

Snow should be ashamed of himself for not being man enough to take his mask off.

May hurt his hand or wrist badly after punching someone on the head, so he rarely took his gloves that season.
