Great hit, but I'm not a big fan of punching someone in the back of the head, despite it being Wards' fault he got turned around.
Win Sarich on both counts...the hit and the fight.

Ward is not a fighter, having watched him play in the AHL. Sarich picks his spots against the softies. Tarnasky or Tootoo would knock his head down to the other end of the ice so he would dare not go near those two guys.

Ward got beat, but he hung in there are kept trying to get back into the fight. He got flattened on the hit and got in a bad spot where he got spun around. He only has one AHL fight leading up to this where Sarich has been around. I think we need to lay off with the "jungle fever" BS.

That was entertaining! I've never seen someone get so turned around before, like he was giving him the heimlich manouever, but punching him... at the same time... win to sarich but good of ward to show up!

What i like to call a 2 "W" fight. One for the hit and one for the scrap. Sarich goes old school with some ol' time hockey. Awsome.

I miss Cory here in Tampa Bay, we could really use him.

He flattens Ward and then beats him up for good measure.

Sarich with ease. Ward never really had a chance.

I think Sarich got jungle fever for a second and tried humping Ward from behind. Then donkey punched him. I guess Sarich is the winner.
