Comments: Holmqvist buries Lebda with a check along the boards, causing Lebda to go after Holmqvist when he gets back to his feet. They push and shove and eventually drop the gloves, grabbing ahold of each other on the side of the Red Wings' net. They spin around and Holmqvist gets in three shor uppercuts while Lebda has his head down. Holmqvist gets Lebda's jersey up and over his head, but the linesmen are quick to get in there and break things up. Other Penalties: Lebda received a roughing and game misconduct; Holmqvist a charging.

Holmqvist landed 3 weak uppercuts and jerseyed Lebda for an easy win.

explains why the Wings don't fight much

Homer took a run at Lebda, they started fighting and Homer gave him a few uppercuts and got Lebda's jersey over his head and the refs jumped in. Not a very good fight but Homer was the definate winner.

Bad hit by Holmqvist, Lebda must retaliate. About the fight Holmqvist did a very good job and extra credit stopping after he pulled Lebdas jersey when he clearly could have done more damage. The visor he never got the time too take of othervise very strong performance by Holmqvist.

Holmqvist showed up, and that's about it. I don't blame him for not taking off his visor either, because it looks like Lebda dropped his gloves first and charged him.

good for lebda sticking up for himself, that was kinda a cheap hit. but holmqvist dominated this one.

Lebda did what he had to do after he was plowed.

Typical dirty shot by chicago. Glad Lebda stood his ground im sure he was still fazed by the shoulder to the head. Do you hear it? In the distance?Nasty attitudes with strength coming to Hockeytown, got to protect Dats and Zett in playoffs. GO WINGS!

The hit was better than the fight.

Lebda made a great deike but Holmqvist gave him a cheap check. Holmqvist also didnt let Lebda fight he kept his jersey over his head the whole time. Holmqvist is a *****.

Holmqvist should have received a charging penalty after ringing Lebda's bell! Hopefully Bertuzzi will be able to square things before the end of the season!

Cheapshot to the head by Holmqvist, then he doesn't take his visor off and immediately goes for Lebda's jersey. Lebda lost the fight but I give him points for at least standing up for himself. Holmqvist is a coward.

Brett Lebda did what he should have done, Holmqvist's hit was not at all necessary, and Lebda stood up for himself. He may not have won the fight, but he got the message across. I applaud him for that.
