Other Penalties: Each player received a minor for roughing.
The ultra small but, ever scrappy DeBrincat goes head strong into the pile and manages to square off with the decent sized but, ultra weak Irwin. The two of them engage in an awkward but, overall okay fight. Irwin uses his size to garner control but, DeBrincat's scrappiness brings him back for a draw. Let's call it a 3... and failed line brawl potential.
Excessive squirming and balance issues combine with inexperience and more squirming... to stifle any hope of something resembling a hockey fight
win for the linesmen
Draw in another none fight!
Don’t mess with the Cat. Trashville got their stuffing fed to them after taking a cheap shot. Refs as usual blow the calls on this. Kind of a theme during the 2018-19 season.
Better than the foolishness Keith gave us...but still not much...give it to Irwin...cause I don't want to type Debrincat...too much work.
What a tangled web...lol ..deBrincat lands a punch ! In answer to hockeyman2019: the minor penalties for roughing were supplemental they did both get 5 for fighting.... Also they were the first to engage so there is no game misconduct.....Duncan Keith gets that .....
File this under WTF.
Really not much happening with no damage done.
Debrincat shows some fight after the knockdown and scores some glance overhands in this pseudo-melee. Somebody needs to teach these post millennials how to throw'em
A minor for roughing to each? Both players threw punches which I thought meant fighting majors to each. This also looked like a secondary altercation to me which means a game misconduct
DeBrincat is fearless. With his team being embarrassed he responds to a guy 50lbs heavier and 7” taller by going at him and winning the fight with the much bigger man, a tough d-man. It’s not the size of the dog or in this case the cat in the fight it’s the size of the fight in the cat.
