Maroon early KB later. draw in every sense of the word.

Posted by Humper on February 10, 2018 at 02:28 PM

A wild swingfest morphs into a hugfest, then into a close-range jabfest. None of which were actually festive.

Give this one to Maroon... he's the only one who landed a punch. The closest Bieksa came was 2 shots that hit the back of the helmet of Maroon. Maroon and a 3

What a terrible fight between 2 plugs

Posted by Imarabhata on February 10, 2018 at 06:11 PM

Did anyone else see Maroon just miss punching himself?

Posted by SURESHOT27 on February 12, 2018 at 11:58 AM

for a big man...maroon can't fight

Posted by bigmike53 on February 10, 2018 at 07:58 PM

Maroon was on to that Superman punch. Even scrap IMO.

Posted by RetiredSquid on February 10, 2018 at 08:54 AM

Bieska with the "Tinkerbell Punch" attempt that Maroon expected. Hug Fest. Anyone claiming that Bieska is feared needs to understand what the meaning of feared.

Posted by surfmaster69 on February 11, 2018 at 04:12 PM

Love fest just missing a tongue. With those names I expected a lot more. Draw easy and not much of a fight. MAKE HOCKEY VIOLENT AGAIN!

Posted by von_swine on February 10, 2018 at 04:41 AM

at some point, your gonna miss that Superman punch, unless you're actually Superman.. but Kevin's still just the troll under the bridge, & he gets the 'Maroon' to tangle in a showcase of nobody wins pugilism.. D-raw....

long bout but nothing happening really .. draw

Posted by rocky 1 on February 12, 2018 at 07:49 PM

Each player with there moments in this one for a Draw!

Posted by siouxfan1 on February 10, 2018 at 02:34 PM

Plain and simple it was a draw. If you give a W for hugging it was still a draw!

Maroon has gotten soft in his old age

Posted by boulonoir on November 10, 2018 at 01:58 AM

And BIEKSA ends his career on a bit of a loss. Certainly not the first one.

Maroon wins this fight landing the better punches..Bieksa is just lucky Marron never landed a big blow when he was swinging Bieksa... Stronger bigger Marron wins 10-6 decision...

Posted by Bloodbank on February 13, 2018 at 01:24 AM

Automatic loss to Maroon for the turtle. You don't challenge/accept and then turtle by not dropping the mitts/gloves. As for the fight it looked pretty even.

Posted by EK65 on February 12, 2018 at 09:49 AM

Bieksa went from guy who made a guy fight Kevin Westgarth during a line brawl in his NHL debut to a guy trying to score a highlight reel knockout in every fight real quick. As for the fight, Maroon almost baits Kevin into the fake fight tactic. The fight eventually happens and it's a pretty close tilt but, Maroon with the slight advantage.

Maroon landed the better punches, Bieksa didn't get much going, Maroon with the win

Posted by Viper207 on February 15, 2018 at 03:27 PM

Maroon is only tough behind his shield. Old school square-off, but nothing really happens here. 4 and a draw.

Posted by Biggus on February 10, 2018 at 08:48 AM

Maroon was watching for that first punch. After engaging, not much going on. Draw.

Posted by djh700 on February 10, 2018 at 10:33 AM

Juice with the edge. Not bad for an old guy.

Posted by legend22 on February 10, 2018 at 12:05 PM

Bieksa as usual does nothing here....A boring draw at best..give a 2

Posted by bbout2c on February 10, 2018 at 08:16 AM

for real, that's the best these guys can come up with, delay of game !

Posted by stoopid760 on February 11, 2018 at 09:05 PM

Want to give the victory to Bieksa for Maroon being a b**** at the beginning

Posted by snowave on February 10, 2018 at 10:59 AM

Maroon is an idiot. I used to like him, but not anymore. Don't agree to a fight off the faceoff, and then skate away. Luckily for him, his usual hugging saved his ass from getting pummeled. Edge to Bieksa.

Posted by ferdip on February 11, 2018 at 12:59 PM

that sucked

Posted by toocool on February 10, 2018 at 03:45 AM

What a fag-fest.

Posted by claire alexande on February 12, 2018 at 12:34 AM

Jesus H. Christ...did the terrorists drug the water supply of an entire continent? Bitchka should be laughed off the planet after this display. Slight edge to Moron in this yawner between two of the most useless players and grossly over-rated fighters in the league.

Posted by arnsworth1026 on February 10, 2018 at 07:57 AM

Maroon dancing away like a sissy to start the fight = Bieksa win

Posted by Behn Wilson on February 10, 2018 at 07:25 PM

Highlights of the fight were Humper and Swiney's reviews... as we all waited (including Ultra) for Bieska to ride his one trick pony Unfortunately once that horse had failed things quickly devolved into a hug infested anticlimax

Posted by dogginit on February 10, 2018 at 07:53 AM

Bieksa is the new standard for NHL fighters. One of the most feared, biggest baddest toughest heavy weights in the NHL right now. I really hope neither broke a nail.. A big thumbs up for Mr. Bettman. This is now a hockey fight.

Posted by 18buell on February 10, 2018 at 11:12 AM

Bieska knows what he is doing for sure. Big left missed at the beginning. Kept Maroon at bay and blocked shots while working the body. Gave the fight a six. With a narrow win for Bieska.

Posted by Jesticle on February 10, 2018 at 03:22 AM

Bieksa with the W. More active and better shots landed.

Posted by omorales on February 11, 2018 at 12:49 AM

Maroon was too big for Bieksa. Maroon throwing with bad intent.

Posted by tacomania on February 10, 2018 at 08:27 PM

maroon easily winner here

Posted by McDonald19 on February 10, 2018 at 06:05 PM

Draw. Maroon should have dropped off the faceoff. Maroon was cautious of the Superman punch at the start.

Posted by traveller on February 10, 2018 at 09:21 AM

Very close I gave Maroon one point edge.

Posted by GreatMurray on February 10, 2018 at 10:02 AM

Maroon read the boy's book...Bieksa's famous sucker punch whiffed. After that Maroon controlled the fight. He landed a few and avoided Bieksa's counters.

Posted by AxlRose91 on February 10, 2018 at 10:32 AM

Bieksa continues to take on all comers, regardless of size. Best pound for pound fighter in the league, yet retards continue to call him a “spot picker” Much more active in this one, so he gets the win
