Fredrik got fed some Timmy's. Win Timmy.

Posted by neeya on December 30, 2017 at 12:10 AM

clear that freddie accepted the fight out of obligation rather then actually wanting to fight. turtled cause he knows he cant fight. if he actually tried to fight there, he'd be in worse condition.

Claesson better get a min of 1 game suspension for this hit

Posted by royal52 on December 28, 2017 at 04:27 PM

Back in the hard days of the NHL, that would be called a suicide pass.

Posted by surfmaster69 on December 28, 2017 at 01:29 PM

when I first saw the hit, I thought it was legal. But the euro went headhunting and got retribution from his teammate. A$$ kicking to the soft euro.

Schaller beat the hell out of the air around Claesson's head.

Posted by bigmike53 on December 29, 2017 at 04:05 PM

Orr Fourever nails this one!

Posted by DARCY T on December 31, 2017 at 09:49 AM

claesson's only nhl fight took place in pre season in 2013 when he took beating from moen hard to time the hit not to hit his head in this situation..schaller came to avenge the hit and claesson obliged.schaller looked like more experienced fight even though he is probably not.he controlled the fight and landed a couple to take the win...gave it a 5 props to claesson for not taking the easy way out of the fight. and i disagree with instigator penalty.

Posted by GreatMurray on December 28, 2017 at 11:54 AM

I hope Schaller hand is OK. He lands a bunch of punches on Claessons helmet/shield. Schaller wins the fight and the ice bag easily. Claesson will at least get a fine maybe more...bad hit...he looked like he targeted the guys head.

Posted by NAILS13 on December 28, 2017 at 04:48 AM

“Reach one, teach one”. Schaller DJs into “Do You Want More” after a chorus of over-reaching right hands and honors (honours) the code.

Posted by GoonVisor on December 27, 2017 at 11:58 PM

Good scrap for a good reason. Schaller gets the win for being active and landing a couple. 5

Posted by EK65 on December 28, 2017 at 06:34 PM

Freddie with a dumb hit followed by an ass kicking and being sat for 2 games.

Posted by jerry s on December 28, 2017 at 05:31 AM

cheap hit good responses win for schaller

Posted by willdog37 on December 28, 2017 at 01:57 AM

Schaller easily dominates Claesson in response to his cheap shot. Hopefully he gets suspended

Posted by gordkluzak on December 28, 2017 at 01:13 PM

Claesson turtled after Schaller got the jackhammer going. Linemates sticking up for one another like they are supposed to. Good to see.

Posted by BennyD on December 28, 2017 at 10:37 AM

Good on Schaller, that's the time to stand up for your teammate. 6 and a W for TS, bad hit by Claesson, got what he deserved. BTW, I'm not a Bruin fan, just stating the obvious!

All Timmie and No Freddie ..... not close

Great scrap. What hockey fights are supposed to be. Those were punches with a purpose. The last upper cut actually got him good. It ended the fight

What is it about the Senators that attracts such puny, useless players?? Just a team full of awful, gutless pukes Someone relocate this joke of a franchise, please

Posted by creights9 on December 28, 2017 at 05:00 PM

Dirty hit by Claesson on Accari. Schaller being a good teammate. Schaller got the best of Claesson in this one.

Posted by Crease_Monkey on December 28, 2017 at 12:08 PM

Claesson looked like a deer in the headlights. He got his ass handed to him.

Posted by adamv9377 on December 27, 2017 at 09:21 PM

Schiller dominated the fight easily.... just kept throwing the right

Posted by BruinManiac on December 27, 2017 at 08:18 PM

Do the crime and take the beat down.

Posted by Robbie1973 on December 28, 2017 at 07:07 PM

I’m a sens fan and a bruins hater... but that was an ugly and classless hit and he got what he deservesd and will likely get a little beating from the league too.

Posted by Mounty in NC on December 28, 2017 at 06:26 AM

Easy win for Schaller but at most a 4 as he really only landed maybe 2-3 solid punches but no damage. I agree with lucic17 that there shouldn't be an instigator penalty.

Posted by Humper on December 28, 2017 at 11:38 AM

Schaller wins for throwing a whole bunch (regardless if they landed or not - which most of them didn't).

Posted by WhyGo77 on December 28, 2017 at 07:53 AM

Schaller with the W for landing a few and throwing many. Claesson will probably get a game or two for a dirty hit to the head. Good response from Schaller.

Posted by Biggus on December 29, 2017 at 11:09 AM

Lots thrown, some landed. Enough that Claesson ended up doing a half turtle. Domination by Schaller.

Posted by iralustmanHF on December 28, 2017 at 12:17 AM

schaller - 5.. Not much opposition.

Posted by Jez-x on December 28, 2017 at 08:28 AM

Schaller shellacked Claesson.

Posted by BigBadBruins68 on December 28, 2017 at 12:05 PM

Schaller does what a good teammate oughtta do and confronts Claesson immediately after the high hit, and takes the ensuing tilt on activity and more punches landed. Glad to see this mentality is still there on the Bruins.

Posted by Oswegofightfan on December 28, 2017 at 12:21 PM

Schaller with the clear win. 2, 5 and 10 though? Should be 2 for roughing, maybe. Sad NHL these days. And next atime a bruin throws a dirty hit, and you guys bitch becouse he has to fight after every big hit... Remember this please

Posted by BruinsAllDaySon on December 28, 2017 at 11:52 AM

Claesson looked to be outmatched here - not a dirty player but bad hit, responds like a man and does what he has to do to get it over with and move on. Probably get a game. Win Schaller and a 4/5.

Posted by lucic17 on December 27, 2017 at 11:58 PM

Claesson's hit was to the head only-not the body-and he will sit out a game or two. No instigator here but it was called anyway. The instigator rule was put in effect in the 80's to stop players from jumping other players (i.e. Dave Brown attacking a Pat Lafontaine or Ray Bourque) Challenging someone to a fight and having the player accept and drop the gloves at the same time is not an instigator. Forcing someone into a fight or jumping someone is an instigator penalty. Unfortunately Bettman's lame leadership has changed the game into what it is today.

A lot of punches thrown but not too much connecting
