I think its fair to say the Islanders have dominated the Eastern fight scene. Matt Martin, Matt Carkner, Eric Boulton, Brett Galant, and now Justin Johnson

Posted by Humper on April 13, 2014 at 08:58 PM

Something tells me that Scott took JJ a little too lightly.

Posted by Hilaker on April 13, 2014 at 06:17 PM

Good night Big John. What a surprise. Size mis-match is not a factor when one lands right on the button.

Posted by mr. puttzo on April 13, 2014 at 09:40 PM

Rejoice Boston fans, A/K/A-Big John Haters....Johnson did to Scott what the two gutless pukes, Lucic and Chara are unable to do and too cowardly to try.

Posted by von_swine on April 13, 2014 at 06:35 PM

wow,..was Scott ever dotted by JJ.. nice he could chuckle about it after... a punchers chance to go w/Johnsons 'stones' and it's a clear tko... #49 FTW

Posted by staceyb on April 13, 2014 at 06:05 PM

Down went Scott.

Posted by bhamill on April 14, 2014 at 01:08 PM

Johnson popped him one and then let off. Win and classy conduct for Johnson.

Posted by Massive Coiler on April 13, 2014 at 06:27 PM

Wow, you don't generally go into a John Scott fight and expect that outcome. Johnson demolished him, but I guess it was all in good fun. Good fight, nice to see someone be able to laugh off a fight like that.

Posted by fernben8 on April 14, 2014 at 03:38 PM

Gotta love it...LOL LOL ! None of us expected this, I like the way Scott accepted his defeat with a grin...like saying 'yup, he got me'. Props to Johmson for stopping after the tag. WTF Islanders ? Carkner, Boulton,Gallant,Martin and Johnson !? Hope you have room for everyone because you'll be fun to watch next season ! Good one boys !!

Hi, I'm big John Scott.....BANG....Earth to John....Earth to John! Great punch, Justin WINNER!

BINGO !!!!! Johnson rocked him this time… Nice showing by a much smaller guy with BALANCE & knowing how to handle himself.. TO BBB: I think Hillary Clinton would be a lot better example of a political fraud than sarah Palin !!!!!!!!!! Big W for Johnson !!!!!!!!!!

Posted by NewIsles on April 16, 2014 at 07:33 PM

Scott drastically underestimated Johnson's punching ability. TKO...Have a nice day...

Posted by NAILS13 on April 14, 2014 at 02:02 PM

Inspirational fight. Made me think of the late Derek Boogaard's thoughts about the anxiety preceding facing a southpaw.

Posted by dmatt on April 15, 2014 at 12:25 PM

Just goes to show that one lucky punch can win a fight. Scott is beginning to look like Probie when he was ready to retire. Not really looking for action but will go if challenged. As for all the Bruin chumps, the Hawks showed the world what Chara is really like. They turned him into a turnstyle in the finals. His best defensive move was the crosscheck that the zebras refused to call.

Posted by whaleoil on April 13, 2014 at 05:47 PM

....a perfectly timed HARD left....surprised Scott....down goes Johnny. Good 'onya JJ.

Posted by loneranger on April 14, 2014 at 11:24 AM

few things are as enjoyable as watching Scott get KO'd on the final day of the season. With any luck we'll never see this idiot on NHL ice again.

Posted by mikebflorida on April 14, 2014 at 09:12 AM

Whammo and down goes Scott. Great left by JJ, sometimes that's all it takes as Scott is winning up to that point.

Posted by Sasky001 on April 21, 2014 at 11:56 PM

John Scott laughing is poor form. He is lucky Johnson stopped or it would have been hospital time.

Posted by jcstokes on April 13, 2014 at 09:44 PM

Feel good moment. Someone buy him a steak and a shot. JJ makes it to the show after how many years in the minors and has the moment of his career. Took some shots and then ker-bang. Did something no one else could do. Good for him. Won't happen again, but wow. Scott took it like a man and thats the way it should be. Nice.

Posted by rocky 1 on April 14, 2014 at 01:38 AM

Johnson catches Scott with a solid left and sets Scott on his ass for the win.I have watched Johnson fight in the AHL many times and he never really does that well so this is an upset .Stortini even beat this guy!

Posted by CofRed92 on April 13, 2014 at 06:52 PM

HOLY SHIT! JJ and Gally makin a HUGE case to stay in the Show. Hope John's okay. Like both players.

Posted by Jellyczar on April 15, 2014 at 08:41 PM

Scott started strong but ended on his butt........

Posted by boldbilly on April 14, 2014 at 07:53 AM

Everybody and anybody can get caught with one, here John Scott gets caught with one plain and simple and loses........and is a good sport about it.......I said any one and anybody.....that is except for the two cowards. In Boston....Chara and LUCIC........he'll Douglas Murray had the balls to go with Scott.....but not those two cowards in Boston.......they had chances to make Scott answer for what he did to Thornton.......but they are too valuable to fight Scott. Oh they can go for 5 minutes against smaller and less talented fighters and non fighters.......but that's the new Bruin tough guys....lol......Johnson win by tko showing ball$...... unlike the above mentioned pretenders. Lol ....go wings go

Posted by Ecce72 on April 13, 2014 at 05:35 PM

Posted by Mounty in NC on April 14, 2014 at 10:13 PM

Scott early but TKO'd by Johnson. Scott wins this 9 out of 10 times....I'm just glad I got to see that 1 time. Nice lucky shot.

Posted by GoonVisor on April 15, 2014 at 10:31 AM

The best part was when John Scott got punched really hard in the head and fell on his bum.

Posted by Gbuck18 on April 14, 2014 at 11:37 AM

Big punch by the kid. Took a couple of blows too. Johnson with the win

Posted by 4on4 on April 13, 2014 at 10:02 PM

Jonhson drops Scott like yesterday's underwear. 6.

Posted by TayOkay on April 14, 2014 at 08:58 AM

Even John Scott didn't vote John Scott.

Posted by tdcrump on April 14, 2014 at 04:10 PM

What an act from Scott...he took a good one and laughed all the way to the bottle of Excedrin.

Posted by lovejoy on April 14, 2014 at 02:34 AM

@King of Goons: "Scott took on a guy that might never play another NHL game ....... uber-goon, who's essentially a Charlestown Chief style "ringer"." Funny, most here would think your description fits Scott as well.

Posted by wishbone73 on April 14, 2014 at 04:19 PM

scott got tagged after getting in afew

Posted by dribby on April 13, 2014 at 06:26 PM

Haha couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!!

Posted by shawn46 on April 14, 2014 at 09:33 AM

Based on his last couple of fights I think Scott has reached the age where he realizes that there is more to life than just fighting and has lost interest. To paraphrase and twist Keith Jones wisdom.. When a fighter becomes a spectator he soon becomes a commentator.... John needs to give Eric Goddard a call and ask how's retirement.

Posted by JaCort16 on April 13, 2014 at 08:40 PM

Wow. Scott only does what he does cause of size if he was smaller he would lose like this every time

Posted by slavv on April 14, 2014 at 02:33 PM

Scott supports the saying, "size doesn't matter". The guy has 9 inches and 35 lbs on Johnson but got destroyed....

Posted by yngblonde1 on April 14, 2014 at 11:40 AM

Scott will remember this kid is a southpaw next time..Have to give credit to the smaller kid Johnson..One left and good night..

Posted by retired2006 on April 13, 2014 at 06:03 PM

John Scott leads with his chin, usually can withstand a punch, not here. Justin Johnson shook him up, he doesn't seem to want a rematch.

Posted by sixclocks on April 13, 2014 at 06:02 PM

todd ewen ko'd bob probert his first fight like out cold.. looking forward to a rematch. anxiously.

Posted by bloodonyourlips on April 13, 2014 at 07:54 PM

Not sure why people on this sight talk up Scott like he's a good fighter, Gallant would probably beat him too. Scott is just a big goon who can't beat the true heavies. McGrattan would eat him up and spit him out. Easy win for Johnson in this one.

Posted by kresl11 on April 16, 2014 at 02:37 PM

Justin Johnson teach John Scott to pick on people his own size!

Posted by travist on November 03, 2015 at 09:22 PM

hate seeing anyone get hurt, and scott doesn't look like it, but damn that was nice to watch.

Posted by ColtBoy57 on April 14, 2014 at 10:07 PM

A little too short to really test either of these guys. JJ lands a good left. Big John loses one.

Posted by bradmayfan on April 13, 2014 at 05:55 PM

OUCH! Hope that they go again. Bummer that Nolan has kept a tight leash on Scott....he is clearly rusty!!!

Posted by waynegibbous on April 14, 2014 at 09:59 PM

Posted by Biggus on April 14, 2014 at 12:12 AM

Wow. Who is Justin Johnson? Nobody will be asking that question again. I don't care for Scott, but you gotta like his attitude. Gets up grinning after getting leveled.

Posted by PantherPete on April 14, 2014 at 06:54 PM

DAMN! Didn't see that coming. Neither did Scott. Hopefully it's not just 15 mins of fame for Johnson. I'm sure Scott's first order of business, come next season, will be to find out.

Posted by buzzgun2000 on April 14, 2014 at 07:43 AM

Nice to see Mr. Johnson get a shot at the show and have an unforgettable memory to share with the grandkids someday. Scott has taken and survived some good shots to the chin before from top notch fighters so Justin deserves much respect.

Posted by Viper207 on April 13, 2014 at 06:37 PM

Justin Johnson serves John Scott some just desserts. Beautiful TKO here.

Posted by Raoul Duke 708 on April 22, 2014 at 01:19 AM

My man JJ, representing East Anchorage High and UAA. JJ with the Ko. Scott can no longer be considered a top heavyweight. And for you clowns who are complaining about JJ being nothing but a goon... Uh, yeah, and he just waxed another non-hockey playing goon (another WCHA grad by the way). If you think Scott is out there for his defensive prowess you are either an exec for the Oilers or you don't know hockey (though those options certainly aren't mutually exclusive).

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on April 14, 2014 at 08:30 AM

Awesome. I am so happy to see a guy like Johnson, at 32, 1) get to play in a couple of NHL games, and 2) take on and destroy a bona-fide tought guy....props to JJ :)

Posted by mike hartman on June 18, 2014 at 11:30 AM

great fight. Great job by Johnson, really surprised Scott with that left. Would've liked to see them go again, but can't blame Johnson for not. he already took down the giant once, no reason to fight him again. Good win for Johnson.

I always thought big johns chin was suspect the first left grazed But that second probably would have dropped anyone But I still hold his jaw suspect And this is nice to see.

Posted by kyhammer on April 14, 2014 at 12:04 AM

Wow! I got to see JJ in Cincy. He was always aggressive and fearless and the winner. Johnson puts Scott down! Love the emergency call up!

Posted by ahoy hoy on April 14, 2014 at 12:12 PM

Made it worthwhile to watch the game on DVR after this horrid season. I am a big John Scott fan, but he clearly got tagged by Johnson. Couldn't hold him at distance, Johnson was pretty aggressive coming inside. I wonder if the stick to the bridge of the nose from Chara the night before (3rd man in when Scott was going after Lucic) had anything to do with it. Also, Scott has so few challengers it looks like he may be acquiring some ring rust. Johnson and him went right after each other quick, although I have never heard of the guy. Clear TKO by Johnson.

Posted by Bsfan1013 on April 23, 2014 at 06:56 PM

Could it be we've overrated Scott's ability as a pugilist? First the TKO shot to the body by Colton Orr and now he's dropped by Johnson. I also seem to remember him losing his first tilt to Frazer McClaren as well. He's a big strong dude, but certainly not the NHL's "heavyweight champ."

Posted by Stone55555 on April 13, 2014 at 08:27 PM

Scott got dropped!

Posted by CravenMoorhead on April 14, 2014 at 12:54 PM

Justin Johnson THROWING HAYMAKERS knocking the big fella down. Rare loss for Big John, worthy opponent. Hope the Isles keep johnson up next year and we get to see a rematch, or even better, the little powerhouse can rough up that sally ass Lucic.

Posted by first 6 on April 13, 2014 at 10:02 PM

Even Scott had to laugh about that outcome. Don't underestimate a pissed off smaller man. Ask Bobby Orr.

Posted by Irish Up on April 15, 2014 at 12:34 AM

Posted by Domi-ko on April 13, 2014 at 09:09 PM

Too bad the Islanders cannot win games because they sure can fight. That was a big ole tree chopped down in that one.

Posted by moneybags on April 13, 2014 at 05:52 PM

THis should do it for Scott, cant skate, shoot, score, whats his purpose really? Good tag by Johnson

Posted by Pierre LaRoc on April 21, 2014 at 01:00 PM

Scott gets destroyed. At no point does he land anything significant....at the 18 -19 second mark, he gets rocked by the first left by Johnson, which causes Scott to stumble a bit and then Johnson finishes him off with the second left. Btw, Scott looks like an idiot laughing at the end like that...but I guess it's better than crying, which is what he wanted to do. Chasing after Phil Kessel....what a loser

Posted by Reggie Fleming on April 14, 2014 at 02:29 AM

My Sabres blow...my John Scott can't even fight anymore...at least Buffalo has beautiful women!

Posted by woolly mammoth on April 13, 2014 at 06:25 PM

Scott was arrogant and underestimated Johnson. As a result, he paid the price. Johnson seems to be a pretty good fighter, regardless of his domination in this bout with Scott. To all you ignoramuses who whine about Scott being a cheap-shot artist, a player with no role for an NHL team, a bad fighter etc., give me your tears, gypsies.

Posted by Mark1967 on April 15, 2014 at 03:45 PM

Justin with the left that made him famous!!! Great win against a bigger opponent..

Posted by bbruins358 on April 13, 2014 at 08:36 PM

Posted by Corkbrain on April 16, 2014 at 01:47 PM

Young J.J. took down a big dude. Good to see.

Posted by herewego on April 15, 2014 at 09:37 PM

Judging by Scott's reaction to getting beat silly, he seemed relieved that he no longer needs to pretend to be the toughest guy in the league. Johnson is one bad dude who proved once again that sometimes you just have to walk up and bunch the schoolyard bully in the nose.

Posted by BruinsAllDaySon on April 17, 2014 at 09:39 PM

TKO This is.... maybe the 10th time I've watched this? Love watching this useless goon have to goon it out with a goony mcgoonster and get his clock cleaned. GREAT strategy - Johnson goes in and simultaneously holds Scott's throwing hand and gets an awesome grip - the rest is just domination.

Posted by Bruins170 on April 14, 2014 at 05:27 AM

Wow. Timber. Scott is big but he is not in the same class as the top fighters McGratton, Gadzic, Orr ect. He still had the bruins in a panic.

Posted by erikk3 on April 13, 2014 at 05:40 PM

wow. what a bomb for the ko

Posted by slysi on August 26, 2015 at 07:32 PM

Johnson was able to land a bomb on scotts jaw great punch good to see scott get his ass kicked

Posted by elevesque001 on April 13, 2014 at 08:27 PM

you have to give one thing to big Scott: he took the punch and stayed in the game. Most guys would have retreat to the locker room and hide from the face of the earth for the summer. I'm happy to see someone bring down that big guy, he is winning simply because of his size. Not this time... We may never see that Johnson again but he left a mark in the NHL and on Scott's face

Posted by bruins64 on April 14, 2014 at 10:38 AM

The goon cant even really fight all that well, its just his size that people have a hard time dealing with. John Scott is an embarrassment to the league as well as Buffaload in general. They deserve every loss they get for extending the goons contract when he clearly adds nothing to the game.

Posted by Hockeykidd0625 on April 14, 2014 at 12:53 PM

John Scott is a waste of life

Posted by CairnsNYI33 on April 13, 2014 at 06:05 PM

Posted by joaquin on April 14, 2014 at 07:26 PM

This may be the end of Scott's career. A guy whose only utility as a player is to fight and intimidate cannot get knocked out like this. Especially not by a guy who he's got 7 inches and 60 pounds on.

Posted by Cid on April 15, 2014 at 01:45 PM

I think it's safe to say that John Scott has played his last game in the NHL. Let's face it, the guy can't skate, can't pass, can't score. When he takes on other 4th line call up tough guys who really have no business playing in the NHL either (no offense Justin Johnson) this is what happens. A very sound beat down inflicted by Johnson (a relative nobody) on Scott. What a left hand! Scott can laugh all he wants. The funny thing is this will be the last impression most fight fans and John Scott will have of Scott's career. That and chasing after Phil Kessel.

JJ is a beast. My favorite Manchester Monarch of all time. Glad to see him in the NHL. Glad to see someone beating John Scott's ass he's a goon with no hockey skill at all. It's pretty pathetic when you're 6'8" and you get knocked out by a guy who's 5'11"

Posted by Menessy on April 13, 2014 at 10:03 PM

Great win for Johnson. I recall a lot of great toe to toe battles with him and Frazer McLaren in the AHL in the last few years. It's nice to see him get a game in the NHL and not only impress, but destroy the fraud John Scott, who is the worst player in the NHL by far, declines 90% of the time heavyweights challenge him, and would never win a fight if he was Johnson's size.

Posted by Pug Face on April 14, 2014 at 12:05 PM

Scott gets rocked!!! Nice punch and kudos to Justin for setting him down easy on the ice. If he lets him go, Scott cracks the ice with his head on the way down and would not be getting up smiling.

Posted by fdane2002 on April 14, 2014 at 10:52 AM

Nice to see Scott get his clock cleaned

Posted by doobi1 on April 14, 2014 at 11:12 AM

OMG, I have waited for this moment all year. LOL and LMAO. The Ozark hillbilly from the back woods finally got knocked on his keeshter. Go ahead Mr Johson and great way to introduce yourself to the NHL. Especially when a walking monster obviously was inviting you to a challenge during warmups. Chalk one up for the smaller guys Scott seem to single out. HEY SCOTT--YOU LOSE!!!!! KABAM!!!!! DOWN ON YOUR ASS BOY!!

Posted by Bostonfinity on April 14, 2014 at 04:24 PM

Very unnatural laugh from Scott at the end. Nice to see him get KO'd.

Posted by the kid 61 on April 14, 2014 at 02:56 PM

That guy JJ just changed the food chain in the NHL. I've said it before, the Islanders have the tuffest team in hockey. Scott looked like a wimp. I hope Gallant gets his shot at this pretender to the thrown. McGratten beware if this guy could play you would be next. Also, he should of skated over to that other pretender Rob Ray and smacked his balding dome.. @dickjohnson. I never said this kid was the next coming. Due to his age he isn't in the caliber of the NHL, but Grats is on the decline, my sister punches harder and mark my words, Gazdic will be the king of alberta.

Posted by Chrisoboyle on October 13, 2014 at 11:22 PM

I love seeing a goon like John Scott go down especially aby a rookie

Posted by LUCICtheKING420 on October 23, 2014 at 07:37 PM

To ale this more impressive JJ JUSTIN JOHNSON IS 5'10" NOT 6'0"

Posted by Imarabhata on December 25, 2017 at 08:11 PM

Justin Johnson looks like a damn bowling ball.

Posted by dcmac on December 13, 2014 at 08:26 AM

Johnson just got lucky. Scott actually slipped. IMHO Scott landed the more telling blows

Posted by GaryW on April 14, 2014 at 12:17 AM

Billybuzz ... Are you kidding me Sarah has more class and character than Obummer, Holder and the rest of the lawless misfits running this country right now. You obviously went to public school and listen to the propaganda from the MSM. I really feel sorry for you.

Posted by J.R. Abel on April 15, 2014 at 02:44 AM

Holy shit ! I think the only one more stunned than me was John Scott. Southpaw with heavy hands solves BJS.

Posted by illukka on April 14, 2014 at 04:46 AM

boom! down goes scott!

Posted by bigdog2007 on April 14, 2014 at 08:03 AM

Wow. The Islanders have a few small young scrappers!! Scott is useless. Makes Orr and Kassian look like Crosby

Posted by kari takko on April 15, 2014 at 02:30 PM

hahaha.

Posted by RinkRat360 on April 13, 2014 at 08:56 PM

Down goes Scott, down goes Scott.

Posted by francoisleroux on April 14, 2014 at 12:48 PM

Johnson with the win... too bad he's 32 and averages 1 goal a year in the A, and not much better in the (less-than-aptly-named) East Coast league. Johnson won't be back next year. Scott should do his homework and find out who's a lefty if he wants to be back.

Posted by bobprobert95 on April 14, 2014 at 07:50 AM

Reminds me a little of when Probert got knocked out by that lefty way back when. Can't remember his name, David something, but that guy got a taste with the Canadians and socked Probie something good.

So much for a reach advantage for Scott. The Bigger they are .....

Posted by SouthPaw017 on April 15, 2014 at 05:23 PM

This is the perfect advertisement for "BIG JOHNSON" t-shirts.....

Posted by snowave on April 15, 2014 at 01:30 PM

WOW!

Posted by habssuck on April 13, 2014 at 10:17 PM

Nice shot! Would have been the same result yesterday had Scott not declined and hide from Chara on 2 separate occasions. What a fraud!

Posted by kkdowning on April 18, 2014 at 11:49 AM

Scott takes a big loss here as the giant redwood is felled. Scott's reaction afterward was priceless -- laughing and holding up his hands -- effectively saying, that kid tagged me good and you can't win every fight. I thought Gallant was going to go after Scott in this one, the Isles have a tough team

Posted by 29th_Candidate on April 13, 2014 at 07:31 PM

Scott discovers JJ's face-crushing left and gets flattened.

Posted by pepsigenerate on April 13, 2014 at 05:49 PM

And Scott gets dropped!!!

Posted by 87CROSBY87 on April 13, 2014 at 10:12 PM

JJ = HERO LOVED IT Penguin Fan btw to the dude making up fables below; little johnny dodged Lucic and Chara; and while those two will be playing in the playoffs; little johnny will be back at his day job at Buffalo Sanitation picking up and tossing Sabres fans garbage.

Posted by King of Goons on April 13, 2014 at 06:37 PM

I'm a huge John Scott fan, but Justin Johnson looks more like a professional prize fighter on skates than a hockey player. Scott took on a guy that might never play another NHL game ...and got his clock completely cleaned. My guess is Scott would lose this fight 10 out of 10 times to this uber-goon, who's essentially a Charlestown Chief style "ringer". Easy call on this fight: Johnson by KO. Scott can laugh all he wants. Plain and simple: He got knocked out. As the season concludes and the fighting essentially ends with playoff hockey, I have one observation left: The NY Islanders were easily the NHL's best fighting team. According to the statistics on this site the Isles have an incredible 22 wins, 3 losses and 11 draws. That's the good news for Islander fans. The bad news is: Too bad they don't have more players that can score goals and keep them out of their own net.

Posted by sedinfan on April 13, 2014 at 09:16 PM

Scott proves that if he was 6 feet or 6 feet one, he may never win a fight. He is not a great fighter, just a big, strong good fighter where the size advantage is just too much for most to handle. islanders have some serious muscle.

Posted by Snoka on April 13, 2014 at 06:06 PM

Everyone loses sometime, even Scott. Interesting how Chara continued to avoid Scott in the game yesterday.

Posted by ironbar44 on April 13, 2014 at 05:54 PM

TKO if fighting won cups the ISLANDERS would be in good shape. no surprise .no lucky punch. JOHNSON is 32 years old and million p.i.m.s .SCOTT knows him very well. .

Posted by Great Murray on April 14, 2014 at 07:47 AM

I don't know who Johnson is...but he just showed John Scott who had the biggest Johnson. Scott got his ass handed to him by a fellow non-skater...and when he skated around later looking for a rematch to save face, they all laughed at him. . Neither of these two should be taking up an NHL roster position. But I do wish the Red Wings had one of them on the bench to protect all those little kids. There must have been some Boston fan vote leakage...that's the only way Scott could have gotten any votes.

Posted by fight-fan on April 14, 2014 at 06:33 PM

Scott figures he'll try to leave an impression in an effort to retain a roster spot for next yr. by passing on Carkner who he hasn't been able to beat in 2 fights. Instead the Buffalo traffic cone focuses on the much smaller rookie who he figures would be an easy win. So much for the tool-bag logic. Maybe the Montreal cheerleaders who couldn't stop talking about him all yr. can start a letter writing campaign to Habs' management to get him signed. As far as the Bruins fighting Scott with the playoffs starting in a few days, the logic here is pure genius. Yeah, it's more important for star players to risk injury fighting a goon than playing in the SCF. Nobody cares about Scott but Buff. fans who need something to talk about besides their piss poor season & Montreal cheerleaders spreading the B's hate. Scott had his chance to go with Chara & did nothing. Also, the Habs did nothing to Orr after he drove Parros head into the ice. Now haters want to cry about the Bruins & Scott. Keep the stupid hypocritical comments coming, they're always good for a laugh.

Posted by arabhata on April 13, 2014 at 07:25 PM

Thought I seen Scott dodge Chara. Figured I was seein things. Now I see him get yoked up by a brown midget. Hard to believe but a bad weekend for my man Scott

Posted by bigmike53 on April 13, 2014 at 09:23 PM

Scott gives Johnson a shot and now he regrets it! Nice start for both guys and Johnson catches Scott with a haymaker! KD win for Johnson and embarrassing end to this fight for Big John. Good win for Justin Johnson.

Posted by Andydest on April 13, 2014 at 06:32 PM

Nothing I like seeing better than Scott getting his ass kicked he's the worst player to ever lace up a pair of skates.

Posted by Jack Meoff on December 08, 2016 at 01:41 PM

Was that Kimbo Slice with a hairpiece? Scott should have worn a Bruins jersey, he would have probably been voted the winner.

Posted by The Mad House on April 13, 2014 at 06:31 PM

Big John had no idea what Johnson was capable of. Hopefully they go again. There a few guys in the A that could do this to John Scott

Posted by relkin on April 14, 2014 at 10:57 AM

Win Justin. Not sure where the Boston hate is coming from but I guess with a crap Sabres team they need something to be mad at other than their own awful team. The idea that Lucic a 1st line winger needs to fight a 4th line goon in a game that means nothing in the standings and not in response to anything that happened it the game is pretty stupid. The fact that Chara dropped the gloves and said go with someone your own size and Scott said no shows how stupid his plan was from the get go. Don't get me wrong if Lucic had just knocked your goalie into next Tuesday again and Scott sad lets go then it would make sense but fighting for the sake of fighting is for guys on the 4th line.

Posted by DICKJOHNSON on April 13, 2014 at 09:34 PM

Big win for JJ...Think Scott played his last game in the NHL @ the kid 61 McGrats cleaned up on JJ in the A so don't make this guy the next coming, actually Gallant got a win over JJ also

Posted by English_Bruin on April 14, 2014 at 12:26 PM

Scott picked a ruck and got tuned for his trouble. He onlt laughed cos he was embarrassed. He didnt want the go with Mr Chara either.

Posted by tazcat on April 13, 2014 at 06:52 PM

LMAO......didnt know there were so many Big John haters on this board......while I admit his opponent was built like a fire hydrant and is prob a strong "little bugger".....his only positive in this this fight was that last punch that sent Scott down........he'd get his ass whooped 9 out of 10 times...sorry. And for all the Scott haters out there, if he is in a nasty mood (remember the Thornton fight??) he would kick the shit out of ANYBODY in the league....no doubt. He is a well mannered, soft spoken guy and sometimes can get caught off gaurd with some wannabe heavy weight....like I said, when he's pissed, nobody would come close to beating him.
