Nystrom bends down to block a shot
which reduces him to roughly the same size as Ellis
which in turn allows the latter to gain the edge
in the minor bump at the blue line

Embarrassed by the exchange
Nystrom stalks his prey
and eventually manages to beat
his seemingly disinterested opponent
into submission

Nystrom must have been pissed that Ellis the defenseman went into the attack zone with his team up 3-0 and 6 minutes left in the game. He went after Ellis plain and simple and wasn't that effective.

man it was good to see ellis go,i remember ron ellis one time get in a fight.i actually thought ryan got the only punch in,i think maybe nystrom may have to go with some one else next meeting.but nobody on nashville strikes any fear any more with toots and mcgratts gone.

Typical of Nystrom to go after a non-fighter ... what a *****

looked like Nystrom wants to make a name fighting nonfighters. I guess you could call that a win for Nystrom.
