New tough guy for Washington.

Now if they can get Ovie to play more than 1 shift a game...

Hey...pretty good first NHL fight for Olesky,
Honorary lid toss, solid connection with first punch thrown and respect of the code when your opponent is down,
Good job kid...

....after landing the first one, Oleksy wastes no-time and quickly finishes his man,...

Great start for Oleksy -- both in terms of fighting and solid D (with 4 points). Oleksy punches Bowman into submission

Bowman looked good with his opening stance, that he had down and actually looked likes been sparring with joekinen then 2 seconds in reality set in and gets tuned like a hillbilly's piano.so maybe he shouldnt be sparring with joekinen and maybe talk to westgarth.

This was a butt-kicking. Oleksy's first NFL fight is a clear win for him.

Damn Olesky looks like a solid scrapper. Nice job pummeling Bowman.

Oleksy is the most exciting thing for the Caps this year!

strong right punch & Bowman essentially quits. Oleksy holds back -- fights fair. Kudos to both: neither are like the Flyer pucks (vorocek, Rinaldo, etc)

Definitely the only thing Caps fans had to cheer about that night. Actually, come to think about it, Oleksy is the only thing the Caps had to cheer about for that three-game slide. He's not big, but he is tough, and he can lay a hit on you. I was able to watch him when he played in Hershey, and he is not reluctant to drop the gloves when necessary. While Bowman got a few licks in first, once Oleksy took control of the fight, it was all over.

Appreciate guys, taking the hats off for a dance when they have visors, should be a new rule. Gentleman's game, lets keep it that way and get rid of the posers.
