i agree with jlssq4 that mac was knocked off balance and backwards with a stiff arm. macs only had a few scraps this season so far. gallant ko'd him in macdermids last fight. he had a good shot at being in the regular rotation for the senior B's this season if it wasn't for that miserable lockout. he played a few games for them last season and fit in very well bangin in the corners and finishing some good clean hard checks. dropped the gloves with rupp and held his own.

Lots of big punches thrown but not a lot of contact. Lopsided win for McLaren but definitely a slip/takedown and not a knockdown.

I've got to agree with you slarrivee, MacDermid hasn't been the same fighter this year. Definitely not in agreement with the homer commentator that this was a TKO though...more like a left-handed stiff-arm that pushed Lane off-balance and backwards. Crappy fight.

**We need another option next to TKO and KO...something like TD for takedowns.
