McCormick gets the memo between periods,
and immediately proceeds to take on a legit heavy.

Good courage by the Sabre,
despite being beaten into the prone ''knees position''
more than once.
Class act by Lucic not to throw on both occasions.

Lou Cheek with the W. He's a strong dude to be manhandling McCormick like that.

McCormick ain't so quick to exchange with someone his own size, eh? Comical win for Looch as he picks McCormick up off the ice only to knock him back down again.

Lucic is perhaps the best fighter McCormick has faced....
Lucic pretty much ragdolls him like a human zamboni to wipe the ice.
I like McCormick but gotta love Lucic !
Props to Milan...sometimes you say more with less !

Mac looked whipped, like the end of a long shift...But he did grab Looch first....Nice to see an honest fight with 2 guys adhering to the code.

That had to be at the end of a shift. McCormick looks gassed but still gives it a shot with a pretty big dude that can fight a little bit. You can tell by the hand speed. Lucic looked like he was in slow-mo and McCormick looked like he was in slow-mo and molasses. McCormick gives Lucic the nob to fight when Lucic already has a pretty good grip. McCormick was at a big disadvantage but went anyhow. It would have been a much better fight and more telling if they go off the opening face off. I think its a slight edge to Lucic because he landed one or two better shots. The last shot where McCormick falls is not that great a punch. They were both way off balance and like would have tumbled to the ice punch landing or not.

The Jealousy of the Bruins by non fans is hilarious. People seem to be jealous because we keep smacking around your teams. Thornton is an excellent fighter who's lost maybe 2 or 3 out of 14 fights this year. McQuaid just kicks everyone's ass he fights. And Lucic, well, this guy is as close to Neely or Tocchet as you get. People hate him because he is one bad dude. Sorry but he score, throws checks, wins fights and isn't afraid of anyone in the league. He would lose to Orr again, but he'd stand in there like a man. The Canadien's fans still don't understand that concept. He does everything right and he's gonna continue to slap other team's around and so are the Bruins. Sorry haters, but that's just the way it is. Oh, and once again, Chara's hit was a terrible accident in it's result bit it was not dirty or intentional. Other than Habs fans, non hockey people and Chara haters, nobody believes it was intentional or dirty. I still hear nonsense like, "look at Chara's record"...News flash, he's never been disciplined nor has he ever been considered dirty. Between Chara, McQuaid, Thornton and Lucic, it's good to be a fan of Bruin's tough hockey...and no, I dint count Campbell. He is not tough. Once Shane Hnidy gets in our lineup soon when he's healthy we'll add some more toughness which will surely make the Habs' fans cry! Btw. Last time we faced Montreal in the playoffs, we kicked their ass in the series and the fights! This year will be no different. Regular season and playoffs are a different story. That's right Bloodonyourlips, I'm back at least for one more! Ha

I can't wait to see the reviews for this fight....

" Lucic is a sissy, he should've fought Laraque"

" He wouldn't have been so brave if Boorgaard was out there"

" I bet he would've crapped himself if Bob Probert grabbed ahold of his jersey"

" Lucic is such a wuss, he wanted a piece of Gerbe then gets smashed by McCormick"

It couldn't be that he's a talented player that drops the gloves at least as good as Neely did, could it?

Lucic shows class by not pounding mccormick into the ice when he was on his knees
Posted by koolpunch on Mar 11, 2011 at 8:22 AM agree disagree
McCormick didn't want to start, but Lucic talked him into it.
McCormick didn't want to get up, but Lucic pulled him up.
Lucic with the right, McCormic didn't want to get hit again.
(to be fair, I'm wondering if McCormick was at the end of a shift..)

No chance, sorry Cody, it wasn't Campbell. Whoever voted draw is just a hater. Stop with the excuses for poor Cody haters!
