Darcy Hordichuk vs Francis Lessard

Comical beginning to a mediocre scrap,
as Hordichuk goes looking for it,
but then, somehow, gets surprised
and has to duck away from Lessard's;
last-second, surprise attack, maneuver.

It also looked like Darcy missed the memo
about Lessard being a lefty.

No warming up in the bullpen for Lessard, he just starts throwing. In the past two games Ottawa has looked like a professional hockey team with Lessard in the lineup.

Thought it was going to be a battle royal and it just kind of fizzled out. Disappointing draw

I guess if you go asking....you've got to be ready.
Though I think it was more of a sneak attack by Lessard.
Could have been a good one, knowing how these two love to throw.

lessard was going to maul hordichuk like a grizzly bear at the end there. it looked like hordichuk came to this site and watched lessard's last fight for the ages and said, i'd like to do that too, that would be a bit all right. they both gave it a good effort but just couldn't get the results. a decent go no less, draw and a 4.

Some quick, short punches by both and to the ice within a few seconds. Boring draw, now move along...

Hordichuk has to wait for Lessard, (look he doesn't get a lot of icetime he has to get some in before he goes to the penatly box. Also you know the NHL is very serious about Rule 70, you may not leave the bench to start an alteration.)
Hordichuk and Lessard go at it with abandon, Lessard's uses the Lefts to get an edge on Hordichuk. So, slight win for the AHL Beast Lessard.

Good old Francis Lessard...or as i call him....BIG UGLY ! Nice to see the white flag waving Sens call Frankie up to The Show again. BIG UGLY deserves it after toiling so hard year in, year out in the minors. Solid draw...Hordy connected better...Frankie got the takedown.
