Comments: Thornton knocks Marleau down with an open-ice hit and is then quickly shoved and challenged by Clowe. They drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other. The two grapple for a moment and then each attempt a locked-out right that comes up short. Clowe ties Thornton up and gets in two rights. Thornton is able to get loose and throw a left. Clowe goes down to his knees and Thornton takes advantage by taking Clowe's helmet off and then throwing another left. Clowe stands back up and Thornton connects with a right cross. Clowe comes back with a right and Thornton shakes off his elbow pad. They exchange simultaneous rights that just miss and Clowe responds with two more rights of his own. Thornton throws a right, leans back, and then throws another right that lands. Clowe returns fire with two lefts and Thornton is able to duck underneath Clowe's right arm. They wrestle around for a short moment in an awkward position and Thornton throws a left to the side of Clowe's head once they adjust themselves. Thornton switches hands and they go back and forth with a mix of rights and jersey-jabs until the linesmen decide to intervene and end the fight.

Comments: Backes plays the puck into the Coyotes' zone and exchanges shoves with Ballard until the two decide to drop the gloves near the end boards. They grab ahold of each other and Backes slams his helmet down to the ice. Ballard unstraps his and Backes throws two rights that knock Ballard's helmet off anyway. Ballard throws a right and then gets his left hand up in Backes' face before throwing another right. Ballard switches hands and throws two lefts with Backes coming back with two rights while they are in-tight. They grapple for a moment and Ballard gets in a left just as Backes throws a right cross. Ballard throws a short left and Backes switches to the left as well, throwing two of his own. They then spin to the ice and the linesmen are there to intervene and quickly break things up.

Comments: Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other at center ice. They grapple in-tight and Stortini throws two short lefts to the side of Boogaard's head. They take each other's helmets off and continue to wrestle around in close quarters. Stortini throws an overhand right and Boogaard responds with a right to the back of a bent over Stortini's head. Boogaard gets in an uppercut followed by two more rights to a still bent over Stortini. Stortini attempts a single-leg takedown on Boogaard, but Boogaard is able to keep his balance. Stortini connects with a right just before he loses his balance and falls to the ice. Boogaard goes down with him and gets in a right just as the linesmen are jumping on top of the two.

Comments: Niklas Backstrom stops a Toby Petersen shot and a scrum develops to the side of the Wild net just as the whistle blows to stop play. Thoresen and Radivojevic get the sticks up on the side and then drop the gloves. Radivojevic starts things off with a flurry of six rights and an uppercut to a bent over Thoresen. Thoresen stops Radivojevic from throwing by connecting with a blind overhand right that knocks Radivojevic's helmet loose. Radivojevic goes down to his knees for a moment, but is able to work his way back to his feet. They each throw two rights while spinning around. Thoresen throws another right to the back of Radivojevic's head. Thoresen then gets turned around and turtles to the ice with Radivojevic getting in a right just before the linesmen come in and break things up.

Comments: A scrum develops in front of the Bruins' net and out of it comes Wideman and Latendresse pushing and shoving. They drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other behind the net while the sea of players moves towards them. Wideman throws an uppercut and an overhand right just before he loses his balance and is hip-tossed to the ice by Latendresse. Latendresse gets in a short right while Wideman is down. Wideman gets back up to his feet and Latendresse gets Wideman's jersey up and over his head. Latendresse gets in a short right just as the linesmen start to come in. One of the linesmen grabs Latendresse from behind, but Wideman starts throwing rights and he quickly lets go. Latendresse returns fire with two of his own and then pushes Wideman into the boards. Wideman's jersey comes down and he connects with a short right to the side of Latendresse's head. They exchange a few short rights in tight until they decide to stop throwing and let the linesmen intervene.

Comments: Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and square off at center ice. King waves Barch in and they grab ahold of each other. King throws a right that Barch is able to duck away from. Barch throws a right and King responds at the same time with three quick ones that buckle Barch and send him to his knees. King continues to throw rights while Barch works his way back to his feet. Barch shakes off his elbow pad and returns fire with a right. They go toe-to-toe with rights for a short while, each landing some. Barch connects with an uppercut inside and King shakes his elbow pad off before pushing Barch up against the boards. They exchange short rights along the glass while spinning around. They grapple some more until King connects with a body shot and follows it up with an overhand right. King takes Barch's helmet off and then throws two rights to the side of his head. Barch attempts an overhand right, but it is blocked. King keeps Barch to the outside by preventing him from getting on the inside of his left arm and then throws a right to the back of Barch's head. The linesmen see that Barch is turning away and then decide to end the scrap by intervening and quickly separating the two.
