Comments: Moreau drops his gloves and grabs on to Ott who has no intention of dropping them. Erskine comes in and scrum breaks out. A group including Moreau and Ott separate. Peca has a hold of Ott as Moreau starts firing uppercuts at will. Peca wasn't impeding Ott's ability to defend himself as he barely had a hold of his waist. After Moreau is done landing uppercuts, they spin a bit and Ott misses over the top and they fall to the ice. Other Penalties: Moreau received an unsportsmanlike conduct.

Comments: Sutton throws a clean check on Talbot, skates up ice and VandenBussche checks Sutton into the boards and they drop em. Sutton's stick is between them during the short fight and Vandy's trying to deal with Sutton and the stick. Sutton goes for VandenBussche's helmet, pulling him downward, and throws an uppercut that might have landed, then just misses a wild right across Vandy's bow.Vandy throws an off-balance left that Sutton ducks, then falls, pulling VandenBussche on top of him. Other Penalties: VandenBussche received an interference.

Comments: The puck drops and Orr issues the challenge. Belak accepts and away they go. Orr starts it off with the rights, throwing about three before Belak gets started. Belak then gets his right going, landing a few. They grapple for position and then both get some more rights in, but they're both missing more than they're connecting. They grapple a bit more before Orr switches to the left. He throws a few, but misses with all. They both start landing a few rights then return to grappling which brings the linesmen in. Belak sneaks a right in as Orr is being restrained. Belak skated away bleeding from his nose, and wore a full shield in the second period, most likely due to a broken nose.

Comments: Right off of the faceoff after a Blue Jackets goal, these two drop the gloves and swing away. Both guys are throwing bombs while going toe-to-toe. Shelley has Hordichuk bent over a bit and there's a long pause while each tries to get the other's lid off. Both come back with big rights, and Shelley's did more damage. Hordi is cut under his left eye and Shelley has a bloody nose.

Comments: Laperriere throws a hit on Smith as he clears the puck out of his own zone. They drop the gloves at center as Laperriere starts with three rights. Smith does a good job of blocking as they come up short. They tie up as Laperriere throws another right that comes up short. Smith throws inside with two quick right jabs then unloads two big rights to the back of Laperriere's head that send him down to the ice. Smith lands an uppercut as both fighters are on their knees and the linesmen come in to break it up.

Comments: Stevenson throws a few unanswered punches, mostly hitting helmet. Barnaby sneaks in one short rabbit punch. Barnaby then gets Stevenson's jersey over his head and lands one punch while Stevenson is on the ice. Stevenson tries to push the linesman away to get to Barnaby. This was Stevenson's third fight of the game. Other Penalties: Stevenson received a misconduct and game misconduct.

Comments: Allison lands some good punches first, mostly hitting helmet, but one landing nicely. Lapointe then lands some bombs, including one that knocks Allison's helmet off. Allison has his arm caught in his jersey and has trouble getting loose, then they wrestle to the ground and Allison lands one or two more.

Comments: Stevenson throws a hit on Simpson after Simpson keeps the puck in the Preds' zone. They drop the gloves and grab on quickly. Simpson throws a right or two, neither doing much, and Stevenson tosses him to the ice, throwing a shot of his own while Simpson's on the ice. Stevenson falls onto Simpson and the linesmen jump in to break it up. A scrum starts in front of Vokoun, but no other majors come out of it. Other Penalties: Scott Nichol and Jaroslav Spacek each received a roughing a misconduct.

Comments: Players are gathered by the boards and Allison grabs onto Ellison and drops the gloves. Ellison gets his gloves off, grabs on, and they skate around for a moment. Allison gets his left free and starts throwing shots. Ellison tries to just bury his head and his helmet pops off after a couple and the linesmen come in immediately. Other Penalties: Allison received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Three seconds in off the opening faceoff these two go at it. Stevenson immediately tries a quick shot. Barnaby avoids it and they both grab on. Each man is swinging around and trying to throw a punch, but they have each other tied up well. Barnaby tries to throw a right, and then a left, which Stevenson ducks under. They're now tied up awkwardly and Barnaby wrestles him down to the ice.

Comments: Brashear throws a nice hit on Kimisarek and Komisarek pushes Brash and then drops his gloves. They grab on and Komisarek tries to throw a few rights, but nothing lands. Komisarek gets Brashear's helmet off and still can't land anything. Brashear tries to throw a few lefts, but nothing lands. As they wrestle, Komisarek goes to a knee and gets back up. Brashear tries to throw a few more lefts and nothing seems to land, then Komisarek wrestles him to the ice. Other Penalties: Komisarek received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: Right after an Ottawa goal, McGrattan and Boulerice line up together and drop the gloves as the puck drops on the ensuing face-off. They size each other up and grab on. McGrattan lands a quick right jab and follows it up with a couple of overhand rights that land on Boulerice's helmet. Boulerice throws a body shot so McGrattan comes over the top with three more rights, none really landing. Boulerice responds with a right that misses, while McGrattan comes back with another right that Boulerice blocks with his left arm, quickly missing with another right. McGrattan lands a quick right and as they spin around Boulerice lands two straight rights, the last one leaving him open for McGrattan to land another nice right. McGrattan throws two to the back of Boulerice's helmet as they skate towards the boards. McGrattan grabs the boards to slow down their movement and launches a right from way out that catches Boulerice just under his helmet. They get in close, miss with two rights each, when McGrattan lands a right and an uppercut, then misses over the top. McGrattan misses with two more uppercuts and they get in close with the linesmen getting in between them.

Comments: They come together and grapple along the boards. Mayers might have gotten a couple in, but nothing really lands well. Mayers seems to have Henry a little off-balance. Henry throws a short shot while taking Mayers to the ice.
