Hollweg takes a run at Naslund as Bertuzzi skates over and grabs ahold of Hollweg. They drop the gloves and wrestle around as Bertuzzi throws a couple of rights while Hollweg's head is down. Hollweg is able to rip Bertuzzi's helmet off before Bertuzzi gets free and throws a few rights as Hollweg turns around and falls to his knees while Bertuzzi is still ready to throw, forcing the linesmen to come in. Other Penalties: Bertuzzi received an instigator and misconduct; Hollweg an elbowing.

They tie up as Shelley throws a couple of short right crosses and uppercuts while Langdon returns fire with some short rights of his own. They continue exchanging punches for a good while with Shelley throwing and landing more punches. They tie up and wrestle around for a bit as they skate closer to the boards. Shelley fires a couple of rights as Langdon comes back with some rights of his own as the two begin to exchange rights once again. Shelley is able to shake off his elbow pad and cocks back his right, patiently waiting for spots to throw big punches while Langdon continues to throw short rights and jersey-jabs. Langdon switches hands and starts throwing lefts as Shelley returns fire with rights. They continue to exchange rights until the end of the fight where they just hold on until the linesmen come in.

Laraque throws two lefts as Godard returns fire with 4-5 rights of his own. Godard throws three more rights as Laraque tries to get his hands free. They then lose their balance and fall to the ice with Laraque on top.

Behind the play, the two drop the gloves and square off. They tie up as Ott tries to throw a couple of locked-out rights as they are up against the boards below the benches. Tucker starts throwing numerous rights at Ott who returns fire with three rights of his own during the exchange. Tucker continues throwing rights as Ott tries to duck away from the punches. Ott then switches hands and starts throwing a number of lefts at Tucker who responds with a few short rights. Ott switches back to his right hand and connects with two good shots that stun Tucker. They get in close and each throw a couple of punches to the back of each other's head. They wrestle around until Tucker throws three overhand rights and tries to rip Ott's helmet off before the linesmen come in.

Boogaard's head goes down and Brashear continues to throw numerous unanswered lefts. They get in tight as Boogaard throws a locked out right. Brashear gets his left loose and throws 3-4 short uppercuts as Boogaard falls to the ice.

They wrestle around for a little before Strudwick throws a flurry of quick rights, with Hordichuk returning fire with a big left. Strudwick presses Hordichuk against the boards as Hordichuk turns around and throws a right, Strudwick a left. They exchange punches before Strudwick throws another flurry of rights. They spin around and struggle to get loose until the linesmen come in.

Vandenbuscche throws a locked out left and then a right before the two finally get loose. Henry throws a couple of rights as the two exchange numerous punches; Henry with rights, Vandenbussche with the left. Vandenbussche stops throwing as Henry throws a couple of more rights before Vandenbussche returns fire with a right of his own. Vandenbussche throws a left as the linesmen come in.

Malhotra misses with a left over the top as they wrestle around. They both miss with punches as Colley loses his balance and goes down to a knee with Malhotra landing a right while he is down. Colley gets back up and tries to wrestle Malhotra to the ice, but can't quite get his feet off the ice. Colley throws a couple of lefts before Malhotra slams him to the ice.

Montador checks Guerin against the boards after Guerin keeps the puck deep in Florida's zone. Guerin turns around and they drop the gloves and grab on. They get in tight and have a good grip on each other. Both attempt to throw a punch or two, but the punches aren't going far. Guerin manages to get a couple of short punches in. Montador tries to throw a punch that winds up on Guerin's back, so Montador takes off Guerin's helmet while he's got his hand there. They trade some a few quick shots that don't seem to have much power, and then Guerin throws a big left hand that Montador ducks under. They're still in tight and they hold on until the linesmen come in.

The puck is right by Clymer and Paul Kariya skates towards it fast. Clymer shoves him to the ice and Allison comes right over to give a shove back to Clymer. Clymer quickly gives Allison a push back and the gloves drop. They're in tight and Allison tries to squeeze in a left before Clymer gets in a few short ones of his own. Allison attempts a quick right and then Clymer throws two before they fall. The linesmen are quickly in to break it up. Other Penalties: Allison received a roughing.
