Gratton takes a run at Artyukhin along the boards as Artyukhin pushes him to the ice. Gratton gets back up to his feet and skates down ice, challenging Artyukhin and the two drop the gloves and square off near the side boards. Artyukhin grabs on and throws two straight rights to start things off. Gratton responds with a couple of rights and the two go back and forth with right hands for a short while. Gratton switches hands and throws a left jab before pulling Artyukhin's jersey up and over his head. Gratton then throws three rights and tries to shake his elbow pad off before the linesmen jump in. Gratton skates away with a cut under his left eye.

Veilleux gives Kesler a shove in the face before wrapping him up along the boards. Kesler knocks Veilleux's helmet off as Veilleux throws six overhand rights before Kesler even has his gloves off. Veilleux lands two more before Kesler gets his mitts off and unleashes a flurry of 12 straight punches to the back and side of Veilleux's head. Kesler lands another short right as Veilleux connects with a right to the back of Kesler's head. The two then hold on until the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Veilleux received a roughing.

Turco goes out of the net to play the puck and slams into the boards as Brown tries to avoid him. Morrow skates right after Brown and they drop the gloves and tie up. Morrow rips Brown's helmet off as they continue to wrestle around in tight. Morrow throws four rights to the back of Brown's head while Brown just holds on. Brown throws a short left before Morrow throws an overhand right as the two lose their balance and fall to the ice. Other Penalties: Morrow received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct.

Philippe Boucher and Sean Avery push and shove as these two come barrelling in to the scrum. Perrott pushes Parros along the boards and gets a glove up in his face before they drop the gloves. They wrestle around before Perrott lands about five short rights to the side of Parros' head. Perrott throws two more rights before losing his balance and going down to his knees for a short moment. Perrott returns to his feet and lands a quick uppercut that snaps Parros' head back. They grapple some more as both players miss with a couple of punches before Parros lands six rights to the back of Perrott's head. Perrott lands two rights and a left to the back of Parros's head as the two continue to trade rabbit punches until they tire out and let the linesmen come in.

Montador takes Pyatt into the boards as Pyatt gives him a shot in retaliation. They push and shove before deciding to drop the gloves. Montador throws three rights to the side of Pyatt's helmet before Pyatt returns fire with two rights, connecting with one. The two go toe-to-toe with punches for a short moment: Pyatt with rights, Montador switching hands and going with the left. Montador bends over as Pyatt throws three more rights and an uppercut before the linesmen quickly jump in. Montador skates back to the dressing room with blood dripping from his nose. Other Penalties: Each player received a roughing.

They square off and Cairns grabs ahold of Doull, throws three right crosses and an uppercut, with two of the punches connecting. Doull pushes Cairns up against the glass and throws two rights before losing his balance and falling to the ice, taking Cairns down with him. Other Penalties: Doull received a slashing.

Before the puck even drops, Roy sheds his gloves and his stick and challenges Doull. The linesmen instruct Roy to pick up his equipment and wait for the faceoff. The puck drops and the two drop the gloves and square off. Doull grabs on and misses with a left. Roy throws four straight rights with Doull throwing two of his own before they let go of each other. Roy takes off his elbow pad as Doull skates over and hits Roy with an overhand right while Roy is bent over. They wrestle around for a short while and Doull continues to keep Roy bent over. Doull switches hands and throws a right before ripping Roy's helmet off. They spin around as Doull throws an overhand left before Roy lands two rights and both guys lose their balance and fall to the ice.

After serving roughing penalties they get out of the box, drop the gloves and square off at center ice. They tie up in close quarters as Gleason lands a couple of rabbit punches to the side of Barnaby's helmet. They both struggle to get free as Gleason throws a shot and Barnaby returns fire with two rights of his own to the back of Gleason's helmet. They each exchange a few punches to the back of the head before Gleason switches hands and misses with a straight left. Barnaby then attempts two locked-out rights as Gleason throws four short rights, with two of them landing. Barnaby then loses his balance and falls to the ice, causing Gleason to go down to his knees and the linesmen to intervene.

They grab on and Kostopoulos alternates with lefts and rights while Richmond tries to duck away from the punches. Richmond returns fire with a long left before unloading a flurry of lefts and uppercuts with about four of them landing. Richmond tries to tear Kostopoulos' helmet off as Kostopoulos throws two rights to the back of Richmond's head. Richmond then throws a right and puts Kostopoulos in a headlock as Kostopoulos throws two rights to the back of Richmond before the two fall to the ice.

Right off of the faceoff, the two drop the gloves and square off. Janssen quickly picks his mouthpiece off of the ice. They grab ahold of each other as Janssen throws three rights as Asham returns fire with a jersey-jab and right combination. They exchange right hands as Asham lands a few jersey-jabs before the two exchange rights once more. They each throw a couple of more jersey-jabs as Asham lands another right while Janssen waits for an opening. Asham throws two more rights and a jersey-jab before the two go back and forth with rights for a short while. Asham connects with two short lefts before the two exchange rights once more for an extended period of time. Janssen then connects with three straight rights before the two throw simultaneous rights. Asham then pushes Janssen to the ice and the linesmen come in.

Directly after the faceoff, they drop the gloves, tie up and Laraque throws two quick lefts. Laraque then throws three rights, ripping Boogaard's helmet off in between punches as Boogaard throws a right cross. Laraque loses his balance and goes down to his knees before returning to his feet and fending off four straight rights from Boogaard that all come up short. Laraque turns Boogaard around and lands four rights to the back of his head. Laraque goes down to his knees again as Boogaard throws two rights to the back of Laraque's helmet. They wrestle around for a bit as Boogaard lands a right before the two exchange rabbit punches. They then exchange right hands and Laraque wrestles Boogaard to the ice and lands a right as they are falling. The linesmen seperate the two and Boogaard skates away with a small cut on the side of his face.

They tie up and Yonkman lands two quick lefts to the side of Stevenson's helmet to start things off. Stevenson throws an overhand right and almost loses his balance as Yonkman attempts a locked-out right. Stevenson throws another overhand right as Yonkman connects with a right that that sends Stevenson to the ice. Other Penalties: Yonkman received a slashing; Stevenson a roughing.

Ott then gets off 7-8 rights, landing some, while Ricci slips back and pulls Ott with him. Ricci then reverses position and covers Ott while the linesmen come in.

As the horn sounds to end the game, a scrum develops in the corner. Thornton skates over to Vandermeer and they start pushing and shoving. Thornton drops his gloves and throws three quick rights, knocking Vandermeer's helmet off before Vandermeer is even able to drop his stick and gloves. They skate further down ice and wrestle in close quarters before Thornton gets free and throws two overhand rights before switching hands and landing two short lefts. Thornton switches hands again and throws a left-right hook combination as Vandermeer continues to try and get an arm free. Thornton lands two more lefts and an uppercut before connecting with two overhand rights to the back of Vandermeer's head. Vandermeer finally gets loose and lands a right as Thornton lands another right and misses with an uppercut. Thornton connects with a glancing left hook as they quickly exchange right hands. Vandermeer misses with two overhand rights before Thornton misses with a left as he loses his balance and falls to the ice. Vandermeer gets in two body shots before the linesmen separate the two. Other Penalties: Matt Barnaby received a cross checking.
