Mar 12, 2004 Chicago Blackhawks Travis Moen
2pd 08:45 Washington Capitals Rick Berry
When the camera gets there, they are squaring off at center ice. Each player grabs on with the left. They both throw simultaneous lefts while holding onto each other's jersey. Both lefts land, but have little force behind them. They enter the spin-cycle and Moen tries a right that hits Berry's left shoulder. The spinning caused Berry to go to a knee and Moen tries another right while he's getting up that hits Berry's helmet. They straighten back up and both players have a hold with the left hand still. After a couple of seconds with nothing happening, Berry looks to surprise Moen with a left while holding onto Moen's jersey. Berry's left jars Moens head back. Moen tries to answer with a quick right that hits Berry's left shoulder. Berry responds with a right of his own that hits Moen's left shoulder. Berry then lands another right to Moen's shoulder and they start to go into the spin-cycle again. Moen tries a left while holding onto Berry's jersey, but it comes up short. Moen then tries a right that comes up short. Still in the spin-cycle and Berry tries a right that hits Moen's shoulder. Moen comes back with a right to Berry's helmet. Berry goes with the right again and gets nothing but helmet. They exit the spin-cycle just in time for Moen to throw a right that hits nothing but helmet. Berry tries to come over the top with a right, but it comes up short by a foot. They grapple for a second or two. Moen hits Berry's helmet again with a right. They then throw simultaneous rights. Berry's was pretty short, but looked like it landed flush, while Moen's right knocked Berry's helmet off. Moen then lands a right to the side of Berry's head. Berry then tries three left jersey-punches, all coming up short. They then decide to enter the spin-cycle for a third time. Berry tries a right that hits Moen's left shoulder. They come out of the spin cycle and start to grapple in-close. The linesmen decide they've had enough and come in. Other Penalties: Mark Bell received a roughing.

2pd 05:42 Washington Capitals Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre
Alexander Semin takes an extra jab at Adam Munro after he freezes the puck, prompting Mark Bell to give him a gloved punch to the back of the head. 2pd 10:15 New Jersey Devils Grant Marshall
After Leighton freezes the puck Vandy and Grant give a couple of love taps and then each guy quickly drops the gloves with Marshall throwing a good quick shot and Vandy responding with his own. Great long fight with each man getting in some solid shots to the face. Marshall landed two beauties on the button, but all Vandy did was smile and throw two harder ones back at Grant. Mair and Gill collide, Gills get the stick up. Mair gives him a gloved shot, challenges him, and Gill obliges. Mair throws a left as they spin, and Gill has his right free, but awkwardly doesn't throw. Mair ducks a right and tags him with a big left, the one that probably opened up the cut on Gill's cheek. A few more lefts, and Gill finally decides to do something and use his reach, throwing a flurry of rights. Mair gets a good laugh out of that, and they go down with Gill on top. Other Penalties: Gill received a high sticking.

Mar 11, 2004 Boston Bruins Doug Doull
1pd 06:05 Buffalo Sabres Andrew Peters
They square off behind the play. Doull lands an early punch that sends the helmet of Peters flying. They each exchange and land good rights, with Peters in more control at times, throwing jabs (not as much damaging as they are annoying) to the side of Doull's face as he waits out flurries to get an opportunity to throw punches back. He pops up with hard punches and Peters has balance issues at time. Peters briefly switched to the left and also got in some good right uppercuts. Fight ends when Doull gets hunched over and the linesmen come in.

1pd 01:11 Vancouver Canucks Wade Brookbank
Right off the faceoff they drop 'em and get in tight. Brookbank gets the right going and it looks as if he may have landed a couple. While this was goin on, Johnson throws some rights of his own and then they go into hug mode. They end up against the boards and Johnson has Brookbank leaned over the bench a little. He starts to toss some lefts in tight and Brookbank may have eaten a couple of them on the side of the head. Both fighters are in an awkward position by the Vancouver bench and the fight is broken up. Johnson skates away with a small cut on the bridge of his nose.

Mar 10, 2004 Buffalo Sabres Brad Brown
1pd 04:43 Washington Capitals Rick Berry
Doesn’t take Brown long to get into his first fight as a Sabre. He and Berry joust behind the play. They drop the gloves and grab on. Brown throws a right, then they separate and square off. They come together and Brown fires rights at Berry, who’s ducking to avoid them. He straightens up and they go toe to toe with rights, each landing some nice ones. Brown lands a heavy right to the side of the head and Berry decides to take it in-close. He lifts Brown’s jersey in front of his face (tearing it) and throws a right or two as the linesemen jump in.

At center ice, away from the puck they come together quickly. The gloves come off and there is no square off. Johnson throws the first punch, which looked to miss and Thornton goes down and gets back up. Johnson looks to really load up. They both toss a couple of wild rights. Can't tell what landed, or the effect, but Thornton wound up on the ice with his knees bent and his head down.
