Oct 15, 2003 Arizona Coyotes Chris Gratton
3pd 04:23 Florida Panthers Byron Ritchie
Real short fight. Gratton comes to the defense of Brian Savage who got hit against the boards by Ritchie. Gratton looked to throw a few rights and Ritchie immediately fell (looked like a balance issue). Hordi tried to get Hulse to go while this fight was going on. Instead he got 2 minutes for roughing. Other Penalties: Darcy Hordichuk received a roughing.

Oct 13, 2003 Vancouver Canucks Brad May
3pd 02:58 Columbus Blue Jackets Jody Shelley
May checked Shelley into the boards and they talked about going, shook off the gloves and Shelley popped May with a right. May came back with a right of his own and Shelley tried another right, then May pulled Shelley to the ice.

Oct 13, 2003 Florida Panthers Darcy Hordichuk
1pd 12:01 Carolina Hurricanes Jesse Boulerice
After play died Boulerice was looking for Hordichuck who charged on him pretty quickly. After skating toward the center of the Florida zone both threw a couple of nothing rights, then Boulerice got spun around. When Boulerice got up he tried to go southpaw, but Hordi charged him again before Boulerice got set and tied Boulerice in his jersey. After that Hordichuck tried to get in some overhead rights, but either missed or caught helmet while Boulerice fluttered two week rights that missed.

Oct 13, 2003 Florida Panthers Lyle Odelein
1pd 12:01 Carolina Hurricanes Craig Adams
The fight happened at the same time as Boulerice-Hordichuk, right in front of the goal. The play ended and for some reason these guys just dropped the gloves. It was nothing but wrestling and jockeying for position.

Oct 13, 2003 Dallas Stars Aaron Downey
2pd 03:22 Buffalo Sabres Andrew Peters
They squareoff for a bit. They come together, keep each other at arms length and both throw rights but all of them come up short. Peters tries to get closer and Downey takes him down.
Voted winner: Draw (57.1%) - Voted rating: 4.0

Oct 13, 2003 Dallas Stars Steve Ott
1pd 09:32 Buffalo Sabres Jay McKee
Ott collides with McKee at the boards and gives him a face wash. McKee didn't like that, some shoving, and the gloves come off. McKee throws a bunch of rights at a ducking Ott, most of them landing to the helmet and side of the head. Ott tried to throw a few, but nothing came of it, and they go down.
Voted winner: Jay McKee (70.3%) - Voted rating: 5.5

Oct 12, 2003 San Jose Sharks Scott Parker
2pd 13:04 Minnesota Wild Matt Johnson
Long squareoff. Lots of sparring and pawing. Parker grabs hold and manuvers Matt around a bit. Johnson throws two inside lefts, but only manages to slightly connect with a short forearm/elbow. Parker spins him around and Johnson looks to be reaching for Parker's helmet. Parker throws a heavy right which misses, followed by another that lands, popping Johnson's helmet off. Parker throws one more that misses. Johnson finishes off with two long rights, neither finding their mark. They go down with Matt Johnson on top.

Oct 12, 2003 San Jose Sharks Mark Smith
2pd 03:14 Minnesota Wild Matt Johnson
Johnson hits a guy up high, sticks his arms up in the air like trying to say "oops". In comes Parker and Smith. Smith drops his gloves and eats a huge punch to the face as a scrum evolves and the linesmen are breaking it all up. Other Penalties: Scott Parker received a roughing; Johnson an elbowing.

Oct 11, 2003 New York Rangers Dale Purinton
1pd 10:32 Columbus Blue Jackets Jody Shelley
With the Rangers down 2-0 and showing very little life, Purinton tries to spark his team. Starts off very spirited, with each throwing rights. Shelley lands a good right to Purinton's cheek. Shelley seems to be in control with a flurry of punches, but Purinton comes back to make it respectable, landing a few himself. Shelley got the takedown to end the fight.

Oct 11, 2003 Dallas Stars Philippe Boucher
3pd 20:00 Nashville Predators Scott Hartnell
Turco pushes Hartnell at the end of the game and Hartnell pushes him right back, just a little harder. Matvichuk comes in and gives Hartnell a shove, then Boucher comes in with his gloves off and pretty much just pushes Hartnell. Tootoo jumps in to try and get Boucher, but is pulled off and Boucher pretty much falls on Hartnell. Odd FM call. Other Penalties: Richard Matvichuk and Jordin Tootoo each received a roughing; Marty Turco a double roughing and leaving the crease; Hartnell a goaltender interference.

Oct 11, 2003 Dallas Stars Steve Ott
1pd 11:03 Nashville Predators Robert Schnabel
When the camera gets there Schnabel's helmet is off and he is trying to get Ott's helmet off and does. They hug a little, both were trying to get their rights loose, but they had each other tied up too well. Ott finally decides to go to the left and landed a weak shot to Schnabel's jaw. Schnabel then threw three upper cuts that looked to hit Ott's torso and then Schnabel throws two over-hand rights. The first hit Ott's shoulder and the second hits Ott in the back of the head and sends him to the ice, Schnabel falls on him.

Oct 11, 2003 Edmonton Oilers Brad Isbister
2pd 10:52 Vancouver Canucks Ed Jovanovski
Isbister nails Linden with a questionable hit. Jovanovski didn't like it and made a bee-line towards Isbister from the neutral zone, all the way down in the Oilers' zone. Isbister sees him coming and they both drop the gloves. It is apparent that all Isbister wanted to do was avoid getting hit in the face (he has something like 20 stitches in his mouth), as he was ducking away from Jovanovski's onslaught. A few straight rights, followed by an uppercut and another right by Jovanovski and the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Isbister received a boarding; Jovanovski an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct.

Oct 11, 2003 New York Islanders Eric Cairns
3pd 13:46 Buffalo Sabres Andrew Peters
Long squareoff. They finally grab a hold of each other and they're trying to get the arms free. Cairns wants to throw big rights, while Peters is throwing short jabs. Cairns can't get much going, while Peters is getting his jabs in. It's more apparent when Peters gets Cairns up against the boards and pinned while landing some more jabs. Cairns finally gets off the boards, throws a couple that miss, goes to wind up and Peters falls, bringing Eric down with him. Cairns throws a shot while down.
Voted winner: Andrew Peters (80.0%) - Voted rating: 5.8

Oct 11, 2003 New York Islanders Dave Scatchard
1pd 19:54 Buffalo Sabres Adam Mair
Mair lays a big hit on Jason Blake. Scatchard comes in immediately and drops the gloves. Mair seems to drop his quickly too (hard to tell, camera a split second too late). Scatchard lays some nice punches on him, one square on the nose. Mair's trying to balance himself off and fire some shots back when Scatchard lands a couple more, one sending him down, TKO. Other Penalties: Scatchard received an instigator and misconduct.
Voted winner: Dave Scatchard (98.0%) - Voted rating: 7.3

Oct 11, 2003 New York Islanders Eric Godard
1pd 02:20 Buffalo Sabres Andrew Peters
Nice even squareoff. They wait and Godard goes in. They grab and have each other locked out. Godard jersey-punches with the left, and then throws a right hand. They exchange rights, but Godards are more effective. He then switches to left, Peters goes down (slip), gets back up and it's a good, long bout. Both guys land, but Godard lands more until they finally tire out and hug till the linesmen come in.
Voted winner: Eric Godard (83.3%) - Voted rating: 7.6
