They squareoff at center ice and shadow box for a few moments. They grab a hold of each other with the lefts. Johnson throws a couple of jersey-jab lefts, and then throws a bomb of a right hand that cracks Peters on the side of the head. Helmet or not, Peters goes to his knees. Peters is trying to get up, throwing a wild right or two as Johnson does the same. Peters regains his balance and Johnson throws another right hand bomb that lands square and puts Peters to the ice. KO Johnson. Peters takes a few seconds on the ice and then gets to the penalty box.

They meet up after a check and lock up ready to go. They are in-close with each having the other's right hand tied up and throwing lefts. Both guys landing some shots while spinning. Still locked out with lefts, Belak decides to throw his jersey hand; letting go with his right hand and hits Puriton with two decent right hands and Puriton goes down.

Perrott throws a heavy bodycheck to MacDonald against the boards and gives him a shot in the face. MacDonald responds with gloves off and they lock up. Perrott gets MacDonald's helmet off immediately. Perrott is slightly bigger, takes control by throwing lefts at MacDonald, some landing and some missing. They spin around (still in tight) and MacDonald tries to throw a right hand or two. Perrott answers and lands a couple of lefts before they fall down to the ice with Perrott landing a couple. As the fight progressed, MacDonald's jersey came off. Other Penalties: MacDonald received a game misconduct.

The two drop the gloves and square off. They grab ahold of each other and Morgan throws a couple of rights to start things off. Moen nearly loses his balance but is able to stay on his feet. Moen returns fire with a flurry of rights. They go back and forth with rights but the majority of them miss the target. They spin around and Moen throws two rights to the back of Morgan's head. Morgan throws a right cross that misses and Moen connects with a right that sends Morgan to the ice. Morgan tries to get back up but falls down again. He eventually gets back to his feet but the linesmen are right there to break things up.

Early in the second, Laraque drills Freddie Sjostrom hard into the boards. Nazarov skates over and issues the challenge. Nazarov starts off with a right that misses and he immediately tucks his head into Laraque's chest. Georges gets his left free and starts punching the back of Nazarov's head. The wrestle around for a few seconds and fall to the ice a few times, and then finally they stay down for good. At the very end, after both Laraque and Nazarov fell to the ice and the linesmen stepped in, Nazarov landed a nice left to the back of Laraque's head.

Domi pokes at Roloson after the whistle and Henry pushes him into the boards. They grab each other and shed the gloves. Weimer tried to grab at Domi as he and Henry were battling for position but they skate away from him, Henry threw a right that landed and slipped to the ice, he stood up quickly as Domi threw a left that landed and another one that missed. They grapple some more and Domi threw a short left that connected and another that missed, Henry lost his balance again and got caught clean by another left hand from Domi that stood him back up. They get in close and Henry throws a big left overtop that misses and throws them both off-balance, Domi landing on top.

They both squareoff far away from play, Perrott lunges in and Brown throws a right that Perrott blocks, then Brown throws another one which seems to connect. Perrott conencts on a jersey-punch and then he throws another jersey-punch which hits the top of Brown's helmet. Brown throws a right which Perrott blocks with his left hand and just misses and hits him on the top of the shoulder. Brown then throws a right which comes up short. Perrott throws another left which hits the top of Brown's helmet and pushes it back. Brown throws a right and hits Perrott on the side of the face. Perrott throws a left which hits the top of Brown's shoulder, then Brown returns the favor and hits Perrott on the top of the shoulder. Perrot then connects to the top of Brown's head with a left. Brown bends over and goes down to his knees. Perrott lands a huge punch right on Brown's chin that sends Brown backwards and then wrestles him down.

Wrestling with each other. No real punches thrown until Moran throws a right at the end that lands pretty solid and then takes Eminger down. Other Penalties: Matt Pettinger received a roughing.

Great toe to toe affair here with both tossing the rights early. Lots of punches thrown by both, but mostly catching helmet. Doull then switches to the left and looks to land at least one, maybe two while Zinger sticks to the rights and maybe gets a grazing blow in. Zinger lost his balance and went to his knees and the linesmen are in.

Nazarov and Erskine bump in the corner and Erskine gives Naz the invite. Naz thinks about it briefly, drops his left glove and pops Erskine a couple of times. They grab on and Naz finally drops his other glove. They grapple for a bit, then Erskine gets his right free and throw a right-hand bomb and they go down.

Langdon starts the period taking runs and liberties at Barnaby and Chris Simon comes over to put a stop to it. They lock up, Langdon throws a right, simon takes off Langdon's helmet, throws a couple of lefts and Langdon falls down.

Perrott high sticks Johnson and Low bumps him in the neutral zone. Perrott ditches his gloves first and surprises Low with a flurry of punches. Low regains balance and fires some of his own. Perrott threw about four lefts as Low was throwing some overhand rights of his own, all landing to the back of Perrott's head. Perrott is leaning and falls from the punches. Other Penalties: Perrott received a high sticking.

They squareoff, grab with the lefts, and start throwing rights. Nothing much landing at first, Oliwa lands a glancing jersey-punch and then Johnson lands a big punch that hits helmet and forehead at the same time and seemed to somewhat daze Oliwa, who then tucked his head, held on and then they went down in the grapple.
