Aaron Downey |
| They agreed to go off of a faceoff, although many feet from each other. A dramatic glove "fling", as Downey likes to do, and they square off. Downey threw a punch that missed and the rest was all Cairns. Some hard rights from Cairns land, maybe five or six, with a few grazing ones in between. Cairns sends Downey to a knee and the linesmen come in. |

Steve Ott |
| Stars score while Ott and Cairns are battling. Goal goes in and Cairns takes a gloved-punch from Ott. Cairns drops his gloves, one of Ott's goes flying; and then Arnott jumps in (and along comes everyone else). It's a pile and that's the end of it. Other Penalties: Jason Arnott received a game misconduct. |

Garrett Burnett |
| Nazarov challenges Burnett in the Ducks' zone. Nazarov had his gloves off real early and he landed a short, quick left which stunned Burnett. He almost lost his balance and started stumbling backwards. After he regains his balance he throws off his elbow pad and they start squaring off, Nazarov skating backwards and Burnett skating towards him. They lock on quickly and Nazarov tries a few short lefts. Burnett then sticks his head in Andrei's chest and Nazarov throws four or five body shots. Burnett tries to come back with a right which misses and Nazarov tries another right afterwards and they fall to the ice. |

Garrett Burnett |
| Burnett comes in late charging the Phoenix net. He bumps into Nagy, knocks him over. Vaananen and Taffe jump in and shove him. Nazarov comes in from behind late and those two drop the gloves. Burnett gets his right free early and starts throwing shots at Nazarov. They spin around in front of the Phoenix net, Nazarov throws a right which misses and they fall to the ice. Burnett tried to throw a few rights at Nazarov while they are on the ice, but the linesmen are right there breaking them up. Hard to tell what landed and what didn't. Other Penalties: Nazarov received a cross checking. |

Brad May |
| Short sqaure off and both guys start off with rights, each throw about three or four before May switches and starts throwing lefts. May has a good grip on Montador's jersey and starts throwing rights again. Montador is answering back with his own lefts, and then May lands a flurry of punches towards the end and pushes Montador down. |

| Gauthier is going after Petrovicky for a hit on a teammate, and JLGP steps in. After some pushing they drop the gloves. No real punches, should have been matching minors. JLGP does throw Gauthier down, but it wasn't much of a fight. |

Sean Brown |
| With the Devils now down 3-0, Brown jumps into the play and as the puck is cleared out of the zone he doesn't retreat. He meets up with May, and the gloves fly. Long squareoff. They both dive in and grab a hold of each other. They both throw a couple of lefts that either come up short or do very little damage. Brown comes with a quick right that lands decently and gets both of them off-balance. Brown then pulls the falling May, but May is able to keep his footing and falls atop Brown to end the fight. |

Chris Neil |
| Perrot started it by unloading five or six quick lefts that landed. Neil then stabilized, Perrott slipped to a knee and Neil landed some solid lefts of his own as Perrott got back up. They grapple for a bit and then Perrot slams Neil to the glass and throws a few shots. They get off the glass and grapple some more, each throwing a few more short shots while wrestling. The linesmen then stop it after a decently long bout. |

Atlanta Thrashers |
Francis Lessard |
| These two drop the gloves in front of the Philadelphia net and Lessard gets started quickly with three lefts. Fedoruk comes back with a few lefts of his own before Lessard again gets a the left going and lands nicely. They tie up briefly, but quickly get loose and land several lefts each. At this point they open up and are throwing large left haymakers that aren't landing cleanly. After another brief tie up, Fedoruk gets the advantage and lands a few hard lefts that open Lessard up pretty severely above his eye. Lessard responds with a few parting shots over the top, but the damage was done in a great heavyweight battle. |

Scott Parker |
| Starts right off the faceoff after the Sharks scored the first goal. No square off, Naz goes right in and looks to catch Parker off-guard. Naz lands about two lefts and two to the side of the helmet. Then Scott gets what looks like a weak short left that somehow cut Naz right above the left eye (perhaps an equipment cut?). Naz then goes for the bodyslam and it's over. Naz was bleeding and went off for repairs. Other Penalties: Nazarov received an instigator and misconduct. |

Krzysztof Oliwa |
| They have a long square off at center ice. As they come together Oliwa lands a nice right hand. They then battle for position, and as this is going on Oliwa keeps sneaking in right hands. Low then trys to get his left free and does so, however Oliwa is still able to get a few right jabs in. When Low finally throws his left, he misses. They battle some more and then Low switches to his right and is able to land five or six to Oliwa's helmet, but Oliwa still goes down. The linesmen come in with Low throwing punches to the fallen Oliwa, not much damage. |

Langdon landed a couple to the back of Buchy's helmet, then Buchy threw a left that just missed, then another that landed nicely. Langdon landed a couple more to the back of Buchy's helmet, which knocked it off. Then he landed another to Buchy's helmetless head. |

| All Sarich in this one. Pettinger seemed hesitant to drop 'em after a late hit, but does anyway. Sarich easily over matched Pettinger switching hands and landing several flush shots.
