| Off the faceoff Shelley asks and Parker obliges. Shelley gets a quick right off dislodging Parker's helmet and they trade rights. Both are keeping each other at arms-length. Parker uses his left to throw quick, effective left jabs. Parker is getting Shelley's jersey up in his face trying to get in closer. Parker has control in this one, initiating all exchanges. Parker goes to some body shots with the right. They hold on longer to find that right moment to punch and they finally both get loose and trade some right bombs with both landing some decent ones. Parker then gets the elbow pad loose, throwing more shots to the side, then a few over the top with Shelley coming back with some misfired rights of his own. They tire and the linesmen come in. | ||

With Big Parker controlling the complete fight although Shelley landed a couple in there Parker was far and above the better and more dangerous fighter and Shelley"s Protective stance was a testiment to his respect for Parkers ability to destroy him if they opened up the gates and let the bombs drop
