Kelly Buchberger |

Columbus Blue Jackets |
Sean Pronger |
| Comments: Fair square off in the corner. Buchberger grabs on to Pronger jersey at the throat. Pronger pushes a weak left as Kelly comes in which ain't doing nothing. Buchberger winds up and thows a vicious right, but Sean sees it coming and ducks out of the way. Pronger ends up bent over and down on one knee. Buchberger winds up again with the right and fires, but it comes up short due to Pronger's long reach locking him out. Pronger is back to his feet. A wild right cross from Pronger is evaded. He fires again with the right and clips the bridge of Kelly's helmet. Pronger has the right free and Buchberger look to be in trouble. Sean wants to go with another right but goes off balance a bit. This gives Buchberger a chance with his right, but he's still locked out and it never reaches it's target. A wild right again from Buchberger clips across Pronger's helmet as Sean turns away. Pronger tries a weak uppercut which appears to land in Kelly's jersey somewhere. Pronger looks huge next to Buchberger. A bit of stalling as both guys show a little apprehension. Pronger has a left hand full of jersey and feeds it into Kelly's mouth with no damage. Oooh, there it was! Out of nowhere Pronger lands a straight right to Buchberger's jaw and he crumbles to the ice. Pronger goes down on top, but refrains from any more punches. The linesmen are in quickly. It's over. |

Darcy Hordichuk |
| 1pd 06:48 |
Columbus Blue Jackets |
Jody Shelley |
| Comments: Nice fair square off. Hordichuk dives in head down in an attempt to grab on. Shelley grabs his shoulders. Hordi is able to come in with a right that glances off Shelley's helmet and Jody follows by doing the same. A weak right by Hordichuk misses everything and then he evades a Shelley right. Poor camera angle now. Looks like Darcy lands a straight right to the face. Both guys throw rights that ain't doing nothing. They're going toe to toe now. Rights in stereo land from both combatants: Hordi to the face and Shelley to the helmet. Shelley lands a forearm to Hordichuk's helmet. Darcy needs to get his head up, he must be having nightmares of Anglestad... A right from Darcy gets nothing. And again. Shelley's elbow pad has come down over his right hand. Jody tries what looks to be an uppercut which just misses and allows Hordichuk to nearly land a brutal left cross; It may have skipped across Jody's nose. They both fire again: Jody with the right which misses and Darcy with the left which may have landed. Damned camera angle obscures the punch. Jody fires two more rights but they're just not on target. Hordichuk is landing a couple of rights in the meantime. They both go with rights again and neither seem to connect, but Hordichuk starts to go off balance in the exchange. Off balance, Darcy lands a heavy right to the helmet and his teetering helps him avoid a Shelley right. Both guys are in the spin cycle and fire. Hordichuk misses with the left and Shelley with a nothing right. Jody comes again with a heavy right to the shoulder and then with a big right to the mush. That may have stunned Darcy as he appears to buckle a little and goes down. Jody has grabbed on and falls on top of his opponent. The linesmen are in now and it is over. Not much grabbing here folks. |

Shawn Thornton |
| Comments: Thornton was getting rough towards the end of the game. He got a penalty for taking out Varada after he hit Sullivan a little earlier. Thornton comes out of the box on a breakaway, misses, then gets hammered in the corner by Varada. Thornton follows him up the ice only to run into Boulton. They drop the mitts right away, throw wild rights (quick fight), each land, and Boulton cracks Shawn with a big right hand, dropping him in his tracks. |

| Comments: No square off, late camera. Decently long fight. Simpson landed a few, some grappling and pushing along the boards, a few more by Simpson and some more grappling. Manny's arm was stuck in his sweater and he was unable to get any good punches going. |

Keith Tkachuk |
| Comments: Mitchell crosschecked Tkachuk, who went right after Mitchell. Tkachuk threw a left that might have hit Mitchell's shoulder or neck. The linesmen jump in and through a tangle of arms Tkachuck threw two more lefts that did no damage and Mitchell responded with a few rights, one hitting the linesman. Other Penalties: Tkachuk received an instigator and misconduct. |

Dan LaCouture |
| Comments: Lacouture runs over Petrovicky, then shoves him while he's down and eggs him on. They both drop the gloves. Petrovicky lands a decent right to Dan's temple snapping his head. They both throw with Petro's right grazing/missin and Dan's left an ok shot to the mouth. Lacouture pushes Petro to the boards, while Petro has him in a headlock. Dan slips out and is now beside Petrovicky, who ducks under a left. Lacouture lands a left push-punch and Petro is halfway in the Pens' bench. He throws another left to Petro's temple, who his now facing the Pens' bench. He throws another soft left to Petro's ear, who throws a right to Dan's ear. Lacouture goes for the take down, and slips and pulls Petrovicky down on him. |

Steve McKenna |
| Comments: Oliwa just misses a big check on Pushor. McKenna comes over they drop em. Oliwa misses a right, McKenna is trying to get his forearm pad free and grazes Oliwas cheek with a right. Oliwa comes up short with a right, McKenna the same. Oliwa misses badly with 3 rights while McKenna is hunched over, still trying to get free from his arm/elbow pad, then throws a right that hits Oliwa's shoulder. Oliwa hits McKenna in the back of the head with a right. Some wrestling and then Oliwa throws a right over an already falling McKenna and goes flying over McKenna's back. Oliwa had a decent gash on his left cheek either from the McKenna right or more likely his elbow pad. |

Aaron Downey |
| Comments: After Dallas scores to make it 4-1, Sawyer and Downey square off after the face off and square off some more. Finally after Sawyer waves his hands saying "are we going to go or what", Downey comes in off-balanced. Sawyer throws two almost slap-punches, neither hitting, as Downey falls to the ice and pulls Sawyer down with him. Refs come in as Downey's hunched over Sawyer, and they're both trying to punch, but aren't coming close. |

Bill Guerin |
| Comments: They give Guerin a goal on a shot that looks like it went through the net. On the ensuing faceoff, Sawyer and Guerin drop gloves. Guerin gets in a short punch, Sawyer tries an overhand right and misses. They fall to the ice, start to get up and then the linesmen jump in. Gordie Howe hat trick for Guerin. |

Steve Staios |
| Comments: Staios intervenes between Brewer and Prims and they go. Both throw half-hearted uppercuts, and now the refs are attempting to grab them. Primeau misses or glances side of Staios' head with a right. Staios missed an uppercut. Prims then hits him in the ear with 2 decent rights while controling with his left. Prims misses two more, then a right to the back of Steve's head and then a weak right to Steve's neck. Staios attempts a right, then an uppercut, but Prims' got good position with his left hand and hits Staios with a light uppercut. Primeau misses with 2 more rights. Staios just misses a good right. Primeau does likewise. Staios appears to land an uppercut, then a good right to prims helmet/temple, a few back of the head by Steve, then another helmet shot. Prims throws two more, but they are too close. Primeau attempts a takedown, but the net keeps them up and the linesmen come in. |

Reed Low |
| Comments: A few minutes before the fight Low dropped the gloves and threw maybe one punch at Saywer. Sawyer did not respond and the linesman immediately came in; Low got a roughing. Later on, right off the faceoff they drop the gloves. They are basically staying back and waiting to grab on and hold. After about 10 seconds, Low finally grabs on to Sawyer. Low is swinging away with about 3-4 punches which all miss. One might have slightly connected to Sawyer's helmet. Sawyer throws a couple of punches which both miss. Both fighters now have one arm free. Saywer throws one which might have hit helmet or forehead, which did some damage. They size each up for a little bit. Low finally grabs on with both hands and pins Sawyer up to the glass and throws a couple which did little damage. The linsmen come in and Sawyer threw one more punch while the linsmen were between them. |
