Branko tried to land a couple lefts while Ott was on the ice but it didn't appear anything landed. | ||

Laraque is throwing lefts, but not hitting much as Kuznetsov is holding on for his life. Laraque throws some more lefts which hit the back and side of Kuznetsov's head, then the linesmen come in and stop the fight. | ||

Van Allen a right to the shoulder, Matteau a right to the shoulder, Van Allen a right to the shoulder and another Matteau right comes up short. They both throw rights, Van Allen''s comes up short and Matteau''s grazes chin. Van Allen is then trying to get his arm out of his sleeve and gets off balance and Matteau takes advantage with a right that lands on the nose, followed by another right that lands and puts Van Allen down. | ||

Gloves are shed and they get in tight right away. A few back of the head noogies by both as they both have each other in a pretty good hug, then Boughner gets the take down. Other Penalties: Boughner received a major checking from behind and game misconduct; Guerin an instigator and misconduct. | ||
